As a family parenting two amazing kids with #cerebralpalsy (cp) we went halfway around the world to explore just this. We travelled to work with a specialist team training kids (and parents) on how to harness #neuroplasticity for unlocking our kids potential.
This video is really River's story, as he did things that he neurologically should not be able to. We are all still in a bit of shock, and are now starting a completely new story, forever changed by what we have experienced (#lifechanging)
We hope this #inspirationalstory can encourage those on different journeys at the power of hope and the incredible power we have to harness neuroplasticiy, even against the odds.

This week has been so hard. Thank you for this video. River’s strength and courage to jump into things is giving me strength.

I found out at 21 so I been getting botox for a long time. I have chiari malformation swollen optic nerves ADHD hearing aids I had hydronaphosis from ag 2 to 9,I have Hypoparthyridisum si have to be kidney stone removal almost every year, ibs acid reflux bionic knee as of Feb, bursitis, scoliosis, kidney disease 2 I'm strong just like him

Wow !!! What a great video !!! (I keep saying that but it's true !!) So very good to see how River is doing and being able to develop himself !! He won't be a little kid forever and you are setting things up for him to be able to engage in his world as he grows up !! So heartwarming to see all you do. Absolutely amazing. Such great strides. Is this something that can be continued at home or do you have to be where the therapists are to continue? Can continuing therapy be done by video conference?
Hey Bev, we can continue this when we are at home and will touch base with this team regularly to get more info :) and hopefully our next therapy team can use similar strategies :)

The boys are beautiful with great personalities. I pray that God gives all of you the strength to endure what you are going through!😙 I was reading a article the other day that they were using magnesium to calm the movements in Parkinson's. I am wondering if that would help any movement disorder. They were having great results with this study.😍

Oh my gosh, I know this was awhile ago. I study natural medicine and I was wracking my brain trying to think of anything I know that would help. I was thinking CBD oil too. TY TY TY
Side note - with so many of us having parents with dementia, if u get thm a good quality silica (a natural mineral), it's showing promising results. Of course, big pharma doesn't want u to know.

Wow! This is blowing my mind. I feel like all people and places that have anything to do with disabilities needs to see this. You guys are totally showing mindset change and trying new things and intervention with people changes ability.

I have cervical Dystonia I get botox every three months
Does it help? Will it help long term or do u have to always get the Botox?
