  • Here we go! The first day in Marquette was killer. Never did I think this place would have trails, making me think, "Why did it take me this long to ride here?" The Marquette South trails are packed with trails and you almost need a full two days to ride it all. This is one of many videos that I will be putting together for my time in the UP of Michigan. Thanks for watching!

Yooper trails have been on my radar forever, need to get to the U.P one of these riding seasons. Marquette and Duluth seem to be the Midwest MTB destinations. Rome looked like a great test for the coil shock with the chunk and roots, good that you got to experience it at its best performance, as well at its worst pedaling it on flat trails.

I almost enjoyed the trails out in Marquette more than Duluth...They're that good!

I'm so overdue for a return trip U.P. there! I went to Marquette for the IMBA summit in 2015, then made a fall trip up to Copper Harbor that same year... Haven't made it back since. Of course, that's greatly due to the explosion of trail building closer to home (Minnesota) and road trips taking me south to the Bentonville area.

Why do mtb’ers always do that bar bend with each jump?
I’d think just straight jumping would be the norm, and then bar twist once in a while. But it’s like 99% of the time, bend the bars
    🤷🏿‍♂️

Rome looked awesome. I bet that coil felt like the right tool in there!

It was a fun and fast techy trail and the coil soaked most of it up!
