Black Bear Hunting: How I Hunt the Mountains of Pennsylvania

Even though Pennsylvania's Gun Black Bear Hunting season is short, it is still something I give a try each year. Some years are more eventful than others, but its always a good time to be out on the mountain hoping a bear steps out and gives a shot opportunity. Follow along and check out how I and most people in Pennsylvania pursue these creatures.

it's getting close to the KY bear gun season like in PA we can't bait for bear but we can hunt them with dogs and I don't know how long the PA bear season is but I know here in KY it's really short it's a 3 or a 5 day season depending on zones. I don't have a bear tag this year but I keep thinking about getting one someday
