    Well as you know I travel all the world working and this light would be absolutely perfect for traveling away. All we need now is a darts stand that’s no more than 3kg in weight and can fold down to around 60 - 70cm in size. Mission products have been superb. Excellent review Darren 👍🏻🎯

    I know I’m a bit late but just bought one of these and thought I’d mention this..
    If you allow the two individual light arms to come forward as much as they can (instead of straight across) it will throw much more light on the lower half of the board.
    Cheers

    This looks absolutely ideal for me as I've just fitted my board up in my daughters house but still have tripod and surround so I can use this anywhere as it's easily transported. I started up a new darts team too a few months ago and spare board through the back has no light so I can bring this along on a darts night and we have an extra board practice. What a great wee light to be able just to put in a bag.

    It’s a nifty light for the price. I wonder if Mission has ever considered making that attachment piece expandable so it could be attached onto soft tip boards? Just a thought…

    I'd like to buy 2 and put the 2nd at the bottom, use a dimer switch so the light isnt as strong and I think it would be a brilliant light system.

    Would this fit on a board if it is in a cabinet? It could be used to take along when you’re playing in pubs. A lot of pubs in Australia have crap lighting on the board.

    • @DartsReviewChannel
      @DartsReviewChannel  3 года назад +1

      Think it should as the arm comes out away from the board a fair bit but cant say for sure as will also depend on the cabinet.

  • @stevecrosby
    @stevecrosby 3 года назад +1

    Wasn't able to read the specs on the power plug from the video, and Mission have no info - I'm assuming it's 12v, but do you know how much current the brick outputs? (if it's 0.5A or less, then a standard USB power bank and a 5v-12v stepup booster would work to make it "cordless", even better for travel) - even just a photo of the label in the brick would help

    • @DartsReviewChannel
      @DartsReviewChannel  3 года назад +3

      says output 12v - 3000ma if that is any help?

    • @stevecrosby
      @stevecrosby 3 года назад +1

      @@DartsReviewChannel That works out as 3A - which basically means you won't be able to use a 5v USB upscaled. But it does mean you can use one of those 12v car jumpstart packs.

    Too bright light from both mission torus lights. Corona or iluminia much better but 360 and just arc, diferent style, instalation etc etc.
    There is no perfect light. Torus 270 dangerous, drunk people can scratch arms like me, full ring a bit on my way to grab my darts...only iluminia one80 make a job-free dartboard, but need to be fix into the wall, but i think everybody play and put light for good ...so once done it will never move from wall.

    For what it is meant to be, it´s really nice ...and comes at a reasonable price. But as an actual alternative for full lighting systems such as the Target corona it doesn´t convince me at all. Still a nice thing to have if you, like me, have a hobby player friend who just has a plain dartboard + surround and no light system. Will probably buy this and gift it to my friend for his birthday...he´ll be happy and I don´t have to play darts in lighting conditions that are pretty close to those inside a mole´s b*tthole anymore....;=)
