Teufel Hunden. Hounds of Hell, named as such by German officers as the Marines charged through the chlorine gas in the Last attack and seized Bellau Wood.
"Teufel Hunden" is not a German expression, as it is gramatically incorrect on so many levels - sadly, making that one seems to be not the truth. That being said - it's a good song about a few, very good men.
@@DGARedRaven sorry brother was taught different at MCRD Parris Island. That's also echoed in Rommels book Infantry Attacks but he called the US Marines devil dogs since they ran thru the gas without masks into a bayonet charge. Which he considered very unwise.

I LOVE DISCOVERING NEW MUSIC!!!! So... I discovered Sabaton about a year ago (I think through one of your reactions to be honest) and they are now one my favorite bands, I have and listen often to their entire discography. Just now though.... while checking out this reaction... I look over to the right and see a band called 'Civil War' in the recommended section. I sampled a few songs quickly and think to myself... "this sounds pretty much like Sabaton (maybe w/ a little Iced Earth in there)"... after a quick Google search -----> Wiki ---> "Civil War is a power metal band from Falun, Sweden formed in 2012 by several former members of Sabaton. Guess I'll be downloading all their albums now! Any Civil War fans here? Can anyone recommend some their best songs?
I recently got into Sabaton because of Babymetal! Joakim Brodén performs on Babymetal's song "Oh! MAJINAI". great reaction as always! Glad you kicked the covid's ass!
I will recommend Metal Machine. It is a spoof song written by Joakim during a extended toilet visit after he forgot to write the lyrics for the last track of the album they were making. A guy in the band knocked on the door and asked where the lyrics were and Joakim had to come up with something so he wrote the lyrics on toilet paper with a stack of metal magazines as inspiration. The whole song is 99.9% rock & metal song names xD
We could check any of their live stuff they got like 16 songs atm from their tour they upload a new live song every saturday its the #GreatSaturday also also they will have a show live at wacken on magenta tv today saturday i think it's their show from last year which they had 2 stages at wacken insane insane
Here's a list of some Sabaton songs I know you'll love. Panzer Battalion Camoflage (cover) Nuclear Attack Wolf Pack Into the Fire Shiroyama And finally To Hell and Back
Im hoping it has been mentioned atleast once, but if not the Ill do it. Sabaton History is a channel that I just got into today (and their music after watching your vid ) that gives a 15-20 minute history lesson on what inspired the song. I havent gotten to this one yet but it it great for learning as well as getting more out of the songs.
You should react to the last stand, Its one of the MOST well known songs they have, its about the swiss guard during the crusades, also listen to the lost battalion about the battle of Argonne.
The Last Stand isn't about the crusades. In 1527 an army of The Holy Roman Empire went rogue and sacked Rome because they weren't being paid . The Swiss Guard held their ground as long as they could to buy the Pope enough time to escape safely.
you should listen to A Ghost In The Trenches. its an underrated song of theirs but its about a canadian soldier whod steal from german trenches in the middle of the night and has over 378 confirmed kills. its epic
Awesome reaction, as always!😄 I highly recommend Sabaton's "Angels calling" feat. Apocalyptica (official music video) and Apocalyptica's "Live or die" feat. Joakim Broden. Ever heard a cello sound like a screaming guitar?! 🤘 Have a Great Saturday everyone! Cheers!🍻
If you like the video with this song, I think you should check out the great tour video for their song The Lion From The North. It includes footage from their recent European tour they did shortly before the lockdown happened.
Nice reaction on Devil Dogs! Kicks me out of my chair everytime :D . But you know what would be also a Chair-Kicker? A reaction to "Beast in Black" from the band Beast in Black. I'm not sure if you knew this, but the Berserker-album has many references to a anime-series called "Berserk". If you are a fan of the series, you will hear so much stuff in the songs from the series that it could bring you to tears or you fall into a utter blood- and adrenaline-rush, or even BOTH! (only if you know the story of the anime tho, and you really like it).
I can see that you enjoy the songs connected to the USA most. Well, I'm not surprised since I'm from Poland and I have similar reactions to, for example Uprising. Anyways, I think you should check up a song To Hell and Back from Sabaton. It's about Audie Murphy, I think you know this guy because he was the most decorated American soldier during World War 2. I think you gonna love it. I will find best music video and link it in a comment. Greetings from Poland dude
Hehehe...told ya so, my guy. And I'm sure you've looked it up already...but the chorus goes (skipping to the final bit cuz it's the best chills); Kill, fight, die, that's What a soldier should do Top of their game Earning their name They were the Devil Dogs In a war machine, they were the U.S.A- And since then, they're the Devil Dogs of War! Then and always, they are the U.S.A Marines! (Hmm, I think some of us would like to see your buddy's reaction to this song...or at least a blurb of their reaction lol)
Why, at 7:06 into the video, is there what looks like a Specialist E-4 or an E-5 in the US Army wearing her ACU's to a music concert then getting filmed not wearing her cover outdoors?! I never would've done this while I was in the Marine Corps. It would be an NJP-able offense!!
Here's a list I think you'd like, no LOVE Sabaton: 1648 Sabaton: Swedish pagans Sabaton: a lifetime of war Sabaton: to hell and back And sabaton: the final solution And if you want take a look at my personal favorite Sabaton: white death These are my best sabaton songs I can remember off the top of my head so if you see this, thank me later :)

When you have a deaf person getting signed the song, and a grandma clapping along... you know you are some serious sh*t
The Germans give there enemies cool names like Devil Dogs and Night Witches.
They even gave the Harlem boys of WW1 their nickname. The Hell-fighters
The White Death also got one hell of a nickname from the germans
@@lilmallison2531 Simo's got his nickname during the winter war fighting the Russians.

For those who don't know, "The deadliest weapon on Earth," is a reference to the saying "The deadliest weapon on Earth is a Marine and his rifle."
That deadliest weapon quote came from General "Black Jack" Pershing, US Army, commander of US forces in Europe during WW1.

Also going to keep recommending Metal Crue.
Frank, do not give Mr. Rock n Roll crayons. I repeat, do not give him crayons. I'm afraid his knee or his chair won't survive.
Dont forget, this night is Wacken World Wide Sabaton concert

@JesseJames Durocher-Jackson you think *sparta* is a song about us narine?
the "USA USA USA" gave me goosebumps

Just a little note for Mr. Rock N Roll, don't mind the name of "Panzerkampf", it's about the Nazis being driven back by the fury of the Red Army.
I discovered Sabaton in lockdown...all thanks to you bro! They are epic!
Roses are red,
Violets are blue,
When i listen to Sabaton,
My neighbor does to!
Sabaton's "The last Stand" album! All of it! You'll love it mate!
Swedish Sabaton making a song about US Marines.. that is also epic and makes the Us people proud 🇸🇪🇸🇪🇸🇪🤘🤘👍👍👍👍
Must be one of the best reactions i have ever seen! Keep em coming
I went to a Sabaton show here in Brazil, and got lucky to be right in front of the stage!! It was AWESOME!!!
Ghost in the trenches next?
I’m an aussie X serviceman. Bro’s at arms get the chills
I had the distinct pleasure of seeing them in a 1500 person venue. Oh yes, they are amazing live!
Sounds like a hard core recruiting song. I wouldn't be surprised if the USMC uses it in their next commercial. LOL
I wish. Talk about a commercial I would not skip.
