When you think about it for a bit... ''Angry Birds'' itself sounds like such a spot on medieval name! Like, maybe of a myth about giant birds that came to prey on people's livestock (Namely pigs of course).

Honestly, Angry Birds as a concept sounds like something you'd see in one of those bizarre unexplained medieval illustrations
Tropical fowls catapulting and tribucheting themselves into a castle occupied by wild boars.
Oddly enough, there are a lot of birds (similar to the ones in the video thumbnail) that are depicted in the Bayeux Tapestry of the Battle of Hastings in 1066, so your comment’s pretty spot on!

Many remember not the awful War between the Furious Falcons and the Hog clan, but it was one of the bloodiest in History. Thousands of nefarious Hog soldiers died as Castles fell atop them, struck down by the Barrage of avians. No matter how indomitable the Hogs’ fortifications appeared, they were no match for the seemingly unkillable falcons. Even if they failed to take down the Castle, they would come back in mere minutes to execute another Bombardment. The Falcons took all of the Hoglands for themselves, and only after the green Hogs were extinct was Peace returned to the Valley. Thus goes the Story of the Fall of the Hog clan.
