Excellent info, thanks for posting - had the exact same issue with wind on the shoulders. Installed this (thanks for the model #info) on my 2024 GT Pro. Day and night difference and she is now ready for 500+ mile days.
Thanks a lot for the video. After watching it, I have ordered the same Givi model, looking forward to get the windscreen & installing it on my TT 900 Rally Pro.
Like others, I have have been considering upgrading my windscreen on my GT pro. Glad they made a short version. I’m 5’9 and do RUclips Real Estate videos from my bike so the taller one was going to be a no go. Highway speed performance is key to me.
You guys are correct, no reviews of this windscreen can be found. I pulled the trigger and ordered one from EBay today. I’m hoping to get a little better protection at 75 MPH.
I don't remember my brother putting loctite on the bolts. The year that he had the Tiger, they never loosened up. Thanks for stopping by and watching. Stay safe out there 👍
Thanks from France. I’m looking for a new windshield for my 900 gt pro. Hesitating between Puig Tourer and Givi s or st. I’m 1,85m more than 6’ so st should be better but I do not want to break the overall biie design .
Hi, is the tinted model too dark for night time riding? I appreciate that one would typically look above rhe windsjield but there are times when you look right infront of the bike. Many thanks.
The smoke tint is OK at night. If I remember, that windscreen only came in clear or smoke tint. Dark or black tint, is not good at night or even daytime, if you need to look through it. Lol. But you should be fine with smoke tint. Thanks for watching and stay safe out there 👍
Please let everyone know how the new windscreen is performing. I do not like the distortion of the view through the stock shield. I hope the Givi solved this problem and at least equals the wind protection of the stock screen. Thanks!
Thank you for your interest. That is my brothers bike and as far as I know the wind protection is better. As for the distortion of view through the screen, I have no idea. I will have him leave a comment with his opinion on these questions for you. Thanks again and be safe out there.
Thanks for asking the question, I do love the new smaller givi windshield. the distortion is no longer there when you look thru this one. The wind protection is fantastic. The stock window was great, but in my opinion was to narrow. it shot the air up over your head but your shoulders were getting hammered. The shorter givi, put the air flow right at the very tippy top of my helmet, so I can get some airflow into the top scoop of my helmet. but doesnt shake me all over. but the extra wide part of the window, i no longer get smacked in shoulders with air. not the air hits me about the elbow but is so much smoother. i am 5'10" so would work very very well for anyone around my height or shorter, if you are 6' then maybe you will get smacked in helmet to much on this shield.
@@ericschult1555hey buddy. I noticed that they don't sell a transparent short version for some reason. How do you find the visibility through this smoked screen? Cheers!
When you ride at highway speed, is there less wind noise with the Givi than with the stock screen? That’s my major gripe is that the stock screen is very noisy. I had less noise on my last bike that was a naked Ducati.
Thanks for the video. Can you tell me if you found any restriction turning the handle bars and having them make contact with the Givi Windscreen being that it is wider than the stock screen? Thanks again.
No restriction turning handle bars but when raising and lowering the windshield, if you have the OEM headlight protector, you will no not be able to lower to the last notch.
I am 5'10" feet which is about an inch taller than you. with it fully up it put the air flow right at at the stop scoop of my helmet, but no buffeting. I think it is perfect height, so if you want air flow you set it down a little and you get smacked with air. I would say people 6 feet tall would need the larger one, but under you should be happy with it.
Well that depends on what you consider high speed, up to 80mph it is fine, there is no vibrations or noise from the windshield. not that I can tell, the wind noise does get kind of loud at those speeds.
@@ericschult1555 thanks for replying . so far i tried three different things and non are working so now i have to but this one and hopefully it will work
@@sorena1973 what have you tried so far if you dont mind me asking. would hate you to spend money and not like it. what are you trying to accomplish and maybe I can help.
@@ericschult1555 Puig Side Screen Wind Deflectors . Triumph wind deflector and one from amazon like Chinese one but bigger than Triumph one which it work some how but vibration looks scary
I would say the shorter givi is great as long as u are under 6 feet. If u are taller u should get the bigger givi. The shorter one is great, no vibration and the view is clear. I use a modular helmet so the wind noise is a little loud no matter what, but this does help a great deal.

After seeing this video, I got the same screen. I added a wind deflector and now I can convertibly ride at highway speed. I am 5'9.

It is the S. So it is the shorter one. They have a T version that is taller.

The wife stated it helped with wind on her helmet, but not on her shoulders or sides.
Good one mate, the fact that I'm 5ft 10in too helps a lot 😊
Hope the info helps.
Looks nice

Yes the st is the much larger version. I have the s version.
