    I used your idea with white base paint over MDF and paint brushed the glaze for a faux wood grain look on some hobby projects and it turned out great. Thanks for sharing your unique ideas!

    Nice job! You just taught me what I needed to learn in 8 minutes that would have taken me hours and a lot of extra work to figure out!! I'm going with the brush on glaze and sanding it. Great job and good luck with future videos! 👍

    Do you need a topcoat over the glaze after sanded?

    Hi Emily was that glaze a particular color? I really like the glaze on the white paint. What kind of paint did you use? It looks like a flat or chalk finish

    • @MommaFromScratch
      @MommaFromScratch  6 лет назад +1

      its the dark one they only hvae one other color and its like a grey. I just use white paint flat, matt or satin is fine

      its a brown. they only sell two colors grey and brown and i used the brown. the sanding on the white turns it grey and really pretty.

    Do you thunk the glaze would stick to a vinyl floor tile? I have a dingy white kitchen floor I will be replacing next year so don;t care about the floor, but wonder if the glaze would stick /hold up for a year in a kitchen with lots of traffic?

    • @MommaFromScratch
      @MommaFromScratch  6 лет назад

      im not sure, maybe prime them first then use it and seal it because it will have lots of traffic. try it out on a sample if you can!

      @@MommaFromScratch I found the Valspar Clear Glaze at Lowes (8 oz jar) for about $14. I'll be buying that because I can mix it with any color latex paint.
