He is great front man and a showman as well as an incredible vocalist with a very strong work ethic towards health first and music second. Strong contrast between he and Gary. I still feel that he stole Gary's band from him. It's a double edged sword. I still love this music though. I grew up on it. 157 Riverside Avenue long before Kevin came along.
Gary is having SO much fun playing to the crowd on "Flying Turkey Trot". I mean, the guitar work is A++ on its own, but the showmanship is another + or two, for sure.

You are missed down here more than you could possibly know! The fingers of steel was said by a guitar teacher when a student said that he wanted to play like Gary! He said good luck, because that guy must have fingers of steel!

REO Speedwagon used to be a smokin' hot r&r band in early 70's, then Kevin Cronin decided they should play to make top 40 hits,and then he wanted to look like Andy Warhol ! They never got a dime of my money after 1979

Kevin Cronin's voice always held that band together. They are still touring in 2023. Always keep push in and roll with the changes
