I'm a female and also respect Nick's perspective. He made some very valuable points. I do believe that marriage is for the sake of family, which by extension means it's for the sake of the woman (the source of new life/family). The man's role is to support her. The same way he had to unlearn how he treated women, he also needs to unlearn how he is in relationships and marriage. Society tries to make marriage centered on a woman’s happiness but with the right partner it will be an equal playing field. I believe in my husband being just as happy as I am and receiving just as much as I do. That’s how it should be. Plus we understand that our happiness doesn’t necessarily come from one another but starts within ourselves. So he’s not responsible for my happiness nor am I responsible for his. No matter what either of us do, you can never give another person happiness and peace within their own soul. They have to work on that individually.

With enough experience I can say that the funny thing about this game is the chill, not clingy type aren't the 'superficially' attractive ones. Maybe because of the way society treats beautiful women from a young age, they don't do as much inner work, are more entitled in a way that they always want more, not just material but more attention, more mental presence to the point that you can't develop yourself as a man anymore, hate when something else gives you happiness instead of them like friends or even passions, hobbies. Now girls that are a little less attractive then them are often more well rounded, I've met beautiful women with their own inner happiness, that really don't need you to do anything for them like that but the love is real, appreciation of each others time, growing together and independently etc.. But as a man and the way society conditioned us, how hard you may try you will feel lust eventually for that 'video model' type, not saying you'll act on it but it's there. A rich high status man like Nick won't want be with anything else than a 10. Ego, the way it looks to the world. But you can't have it all.

Most relaionships that become difficult are simply due to the fact that those two people were never supposed to be together to begin with. Not saying you won't have challenges, but most things that cause more turmoil, pain, stress is because it wasn't a true match from the start. Also when things come to an end is because the purpose for that situation has been completed. ( *I actually liked Nick and Mariah together too. They lasted longer than I think several people expected* )
