    -------------------------
    Nick Cannon spoke to VladTV about Kanye's slavery comment, saying that Kanye has a problem of not being able to properly communicate his thoughts. He added that it was clear to him that Kanye was saying that there's more to black people than slavery, and Nick admitted that he was more thrown off by Kanye saying he got liposuction.
    During the conversation, Nick also spoke about how Kanye's ego is similar to 95% of celebrities, adding that Kanye is just really bold about his thoughts. To hear more, including how Nick was the person who introduced Kim and Kanye, hit the above clip.

He didn't say Nick Cannon bashed anyone or Nick Cannon should stop stating his opinions. Is it that hard of a request, for someone to say to stop mentioning his wife in every damn interview. Everyone of the interviews Nick Cannon has done over the years especially since Kim&Ye have been together he must mention Kim K as if someone put a gun to his head as a requirement. It just all seems very tacky to me considering they have probably not spoken in years and aren't cool like that.

    Something I love about nick here...
    Even though kanye can frustrate us, embarrass us, anger us, enrage us, humiliate us, whatever it may be, and we are often too quick to dismiss them as fools, nick has enough love for his brother that he refuses to criticise kanye, and instead acknowledges his own humility by accepting none of us are faultless, and as such, we cannot judge others, but he does it with such love and compassion that he endeared us to kanye again.
    God bless you all.

      Nick said Kanye an introvert. Introverts can't think and talk on the fly like an extrovert. It's just wiring in the brain, He can have a great idea in his mind but certain introverts can't quite translate there thoughts into speech. They typically think before speaking, that's where the struggle comes into play. Being an introvert or an extravert is like being right hand or left hand dominate.

      @nitaz5768 5 лет назад

      Nahh man They didn't twist his words, it's not like the full clip isn't online. It's simply like Nick said, we were all getting what he was saying and were on track with him and in a second he said something stupid... again. He's a genius at his line of work but he's human and his genius doesn't work in other areas. It's like trump, if trump had said that the media would flip...so it fair to criticize Kanye for saying it.

    That’s NOT what Kanye was “trying” to say. Kanye was trying to say that black people couldnt collectively revolt to end slavery themselves. That’s what we all understood. That’s also something that needn’t be said in light of the oppressive force that looks down on black people to this day...

    • @kikokazuma
      @kikokazuma 5 лет назад +12

      Lloyd Norwood I disagree with you. You have to consider first that the reason black folks are at the bottom of the socioeconomic ladder is because whites people put them there to begin with. There isn’t a lack of black people giving black people opportunity - most of the worlds CEOs are white.

    • @LeReal
      @LeReal 5 лет назад +2

      kikokazuma The socioeconomic ladder can be climbed...if you choose to climb it and no, globally most CEOs are not white, the world itself is actually mostly non-white. If I’m somehow wrong feel free to drop some citations. Yes black people were placed at the bottom...a mad long time ago. Can’t blame the white man forever especially since said white man isn’t holding us down anymore and hasn’t for decades. You’ll probably dispute this which is fine, off rip imma tell you we’ll never come to any type of agreement so no point in arguing over it.

    • @kikokazuma
      @kikokazuma 5 лет назад +9

      LéReal.TV unfortunately the socioeconomic ladder can’t be climbed as easily as a real life ladder. In America’s socioeconomic ladder there is the white collective at the top rung kicking black people to the bottom all the whole yelling them that they suck for not getting up there with them. White to black wealth ratio is 18 to 1. There are only 3 black CEOs in the Fortune 500. 72 percent of CEOs in America are white. Slavery. Jim Crow. Convict leasing. Redlining. All ways in which white America has oppressed people of color. All facts.

    • @kikokazuma
      @kikokazuma 5 лет назад +10

      LéReal.TV actually, I can blame the white man. Again - Slavery. Jim Crow. Convict leasing. Redlining. These things only ended a little over 50 years ago. That’s not “mad long” bro. You’re gonna sit here and say blacks can bridge an 18 to 1 wealth gap in 50 years? Oh, and not to mention that blacks are given longer prison sentences than whites for FIRST time offenses. How is that not evidence of systemic oppression still existing to this day? It’s a shame you make an invalid argument and close yourself off like that - it means you’re not open to change and educating yourself.

    • @LeReal
      @LeReal 5 лет назад +3

      kikokazuma nah I just don’t care to go back and forth with folk online, it’s not lucrative HOWEVER since you actually seem up for discussion I’ll stick around. Sorry but I’ll never see Slavery as a valid argument, it’s been over for over 200 years. Jim Crow is much more valid given those laws have been done away with for just 53 years however even that isn’t a good argument to me considering the vast amounts of non-racist white Americans and lawmakers in our current times (again prolly something you’ll dispute), the fact that a mostly white country elected a black president TWICE, and the current social climate which contrary to what folk online claim is actually chill and non-racist. When all that’s taken into consideration along with whites who stood with blacks during the 60s AND the whites who helped out with the Abolitionist movement you kinda have to wonder how many actual white racists there ever were. Idk about you but probability wise I find it hard to believe even most were racist also it’s no secret white folk siding with black folk would have been run out of town or killed so they were forced to remain silent and “maintain the status quo” so to speak. I had to google convict leasing, never heard of it so thanks for expanding my knowledge. That ended in 1941, 77 years ago and that IS a mad long time ago lol if you don’t think otherwise it’s all good by me. Now before I move on to Redlining I have to say these things: there are no white people in the US over 200 years old so you can’t blame current day whites for slavery (and given that whites helped end it you have even less of a leg to stand on), a current day 53 year old white person was born literally the year Jim Crow ended so you definitely can’t blame them and what I said also accounts for current day 77 year old whites, they’d have been infants when convict leasing was done away with. With that being said you have even less justification in blaming white people younger than 77 & 53 and I’m very sure the white population isn’t mostly over 77. On to Redlining: you got me there bruh and I see you on that fully, I was reading about how that bs was done back in the 70s in The Bronx (if I remember right) by Democrats, even the president at the time (Nixon) co-signed it, that ish ain’t sit well with me at all. If what I’m seeing is correct redlining was dealt with in 1977, just 30 some-odd years ago so I’ll give you that one...partially because while there are many predominately black neighborhoods not all black folk live in them which means not all black would or would have been effected by redlining. I have to add this on though: redlining began in 1934 which was 84 years ago and while there definitely are 84 year old whites in America I can’t say they can shoulder any blame for it unless they were lawmakers during that year who participated in passing the National Housing Act of 1934. Idk anything about an 18 to 1 wealth gap but I do know the region of NC I live in is comparatively poor to other regions and it’s mostly white folk here so the “wealthy white people” talk doesn’t really resonate with me. Feel free to provide me with all information you can find on the subject though, I’m actually not closed off in any way to “educating myself” like you think lol. I haven’t heard of black people being given longer time on first offenses so drop info on that too. I do know the black prison population has decreased over the past decade or so though, I wanna say there’s only a difference between it and the white prison pop. of around 10,000 inmates??? Feel free to look that up to get a more proper number. The vast majority of black folk aren’t going to prison so to use such a thing as evidence of systemic oppression doesn’t make sense to me, if anything redlining would be indicative of that but it’s illegal now if I’m not mistaken so 🤷🏾‍♂️

    The end of the day
    Kilmonger: bury with in the ocean with my ancestors that knew death was better than bondage.
    Kanye: slavery was a choice.
    It's hypocritical to agree with one and disagree with the other when Kilmonger is saying there's a choice: slavery or death.
    Edit:
    I didn't make it clear but I don't agree with either message and have criticized both in the past. My point is: some of the same people that are upset with Kanye's words prasied a fictional character for relaying, quite literally, the same message. So yeah, that's hypocritical.

      @DNice5865 5 лет назад +3

      I'm sorry I didn't make it clear but I don't agree with either of their perspectives. I criticized both messages when they came out. My point is: some of the same people that are crucifying Kanye praised a fictional character for saying, quite literally, the exact same thing. And first guy, let's not get into semantics. Slaves could've killed themselves other ways than jumping off the boat.

    • @DNice5865

      MrThuglife404 and no need for harsh language. The irony of someone that couldn't fully comprehend clearly written ideas calling someone else a dumbass is astounding. Not once did I say I agree with either sentiment. My point was to point out hypocrisy.
