after some trial and error i finnaly got it to work, i was struggling with the negative terminal of the battery. i had to unbolt the starter bolt in order to connect it. thank you !!

-I do have one issue that I can't figure out though... I've built my Satsuma ages and I mean ages ago. Yet, the front lights just do not want to work. I realized that I hadn't connected the front lights connector to the main harness, but when I tried - it simply wouldn't let me. I've tried save-quitting, removing parts, changing bulbs, changing the battery, removing the grille, lights, and checking if I have connected the front lights connector to the sockets and I have. But it still doesn't show me the ability to connect the front lights connector to the main harness.-
-It only let's me connect it to the front lights connector, but I can't finish the circuit.-
-Do I have to remove the grille and lights even just to connect the front lights connector to the main harness connector?-
Problem solved: hadn't bolted the lights in.
Edit: It seems that your description doesn't match up with the video there mate, heh.
You need to remove the headlights to connect the headlights to the front lights connector
And cheers for letting me know about the description forgot to change it lol.
@@YEETyAU Silly me. It was a whole different story as it turns out. I had spent all this time confused, stressed and worried about my headlights not working when I hadn't bolted them in since last time I changed the bulbs, haha..ahhh... Silly, silly me.

Is there a way to unwire the car and start the wiring process again
You can go into msceditor and remove the wires you cant do it in-game sadly
you can spam f to connect all the wires and will work, anyway, good video :D
im fairly confident that i built the car itself correct using a video and i used this vid for the wiring and when i go to the ignition it shows no signs of life,the battery is charged as is new and a lot of the other basic parts are new.i do not know what to do

if there is no sound at all, its the battery. either not wired correctly or dead. if you hear a crunching noise, its the starter. make sure to wire both up correctly or the car won't run.

@@lucassima2 it has ben a hell of a job, But apparently i had to crouch to the lowest and then loosen one of the starter bolds i think it was, there it connects to the negative one

I followed your building guide, everything was fine, everything worked. Later i saved, loaded back in and my battery is dead and, most importantly, unbolted. The minus terminal to be exact. Any idea why this is happening or what could causing this?
with the negative terminal being unscrewed I sometimes get that when I dont screw in either the terminal or remove the starter, for the battery being dead I have no clue where you using the old or new battery?
@@YEETyAU mh, i really just followed your guide. It was all fine and even ran. But i will get a new battery now and keep an eye on that.
Maybe it's dead because it didn't got charged enough and then just gave up 🙄
@YEETy After some tests i have no idea whats happening. I got a fresh Battery, put it in, cranked the key and...nothing. No noise, no lights in the dashboard, nothing. The interior light works tho so the battery cant be dead, right (especially since its new)? I checked with the wiring mess if there are any connections i missed or something but everything is fine. I replaced the starter, still nothing. I unbolted the electrics, the starter (again) and a lot of other stuff too and bolted it back in again but nothing changed (maybe i try to completely remove them and put them back on later) and my last straw was to simply fix all parts in the MSCEditor which did not help either. Lastly i let steam repair my game.
I use mods, yes, but i remember i had similar problems with the vanilla game too :/
After completely removing the battery (for the 100th time :D), the electrics and the starter and putting everything back again i had to wire something up again which i coudnt do before. After that it worked again. Very weird.

I got a quick qestion, just finished doing the wiring following your tutorial but the battery i bought lost power (is dead) after i left the car and went to shop, all doors were closed, i took out the key, installed the alternator belt my car also won't move but ill solve that on my own, can you just answer me what can cause the battery drain please?

My car just did a front flip as soon as I tried to connect the first wire on the gastank. Twice.

I got an issue with wiring beacuse when i want to wire fusebox to the instrument panel 1 the instrument panel 1 is not showing up and beacuse of this i cant start my car. Everything i got screwed so I dont know why is this happening.

Can somene anwser my question is black smoke coming from the exhaust bad? I just finished the satsuma since i replaced the pistons and i added a racing carburator i filled the car up with oil after that i changed the oil filter.

@@TavertsJ4o i fixed it by adjusting the air fuel ratio then driving the car on the highway at dangerous speeds i topped out at 156kmh because my engine was heating up but now after 3 months of work the satsumas max speed is around 190 180 kmh with the best carb in the game i just need a longer gear ratio to make my top speed 200 kmh
