The nostalgia is killing me
Clone wars is one of those rare shows that was "made for kids," but we didn't really appreciate how good it was until we grew up.
I never fullt appreciated The Clone Wars at first viewing, now i know I need to return

This was well made. I still remember watching the final arc of Clone Wars at school.
Small class and we were all SW fans. The anticipation of Order 66 was unnerving. We all were crying by the end. Truly the greatest SW Show.

You can see Anakin's slow transition into a character of hatred, as he slowly dealt more and more into the dark side.. up until just before he turned into a sith
So many shows, movies, or games get the "I wish I could watch it again for the first time" comment. Clone Wars is a show I love to rewatch. So many of these moments are fond memories that I appreciate anew each time I watch them, and I love the show for that. The last half of Season 7 will forever be a favorite THING for me. Not just show, but any form of media, art, entertainment, emotion. Rex shaking as he fights the chip makes me say "come on" every damn time.
as someone who absolutely loves everything about the clone wars series, i can honestly say that this video is a masterpiece. you really chose the best shot/scene of every episode, and each moment was packed with memories and nostalgia for me. the fact that you let the last scene slide a little longer than the rest, damn. i'm a new subscriber and i can't wait for more content.

After watching the video, you realize that the Separatists didn't lose the war, neither the Republic, nor the Jedi Order. It's the entire galaxy who lost the war... Uphold & protect your life, love & liberty, & the force will never die.

there’s a great episode in Rebels where some old clones (Rex included) find a group of old battle droids and they both discuss and realize that they both were just pons used in the war for a greater power to take control.. it’s a wonderful episode

It was Season 3, Episode 6 "The Last Battle". The only clone there was Rex as Wolffe and Gregor were not brought along. Rex was accompanied by former Jedi Commander, now Jedi Knight Caleb "Kanan Jarrus" Dume, Jedi Padawan Ezra Bridger, Zeb Orrelios, and C1-10P "Chopper". After they awoke from being captured Rex was undergoing an episode of PTSD as he began reliving the Clone Wars and shouted out Cody's name. From there they met General Kalani the Super Tactical Droid. From there they had a discussion of which army was the better and stronger army, which led to The Last Battle between the Republic and Separatists as they were pitted against each other to see which side was always the strongest. That was until Chopper sent a distress signal to Hera that was intercepted by the Empire and relayed from Admiral Konstantine to Agent Kallus and Governor Pryce that lead the Empire to their location. Which then Ezra convinced both Captain Rex and General Kalani that neither side won, it was the Empire that won and is now their common enemy.

The way my childhood came flashing back
the slight animation change moment in the midway point of s3 (2:22) was definitely the divide between 2 types of shows for me
first half is the nostalgic charming clone wars, second half is the experience of a lifetime for a star wars fan, with much worldbuilding and immersive episodes every other step of the way

All of this death,pain and suffering. All of it was for absolutely nothing,the slow death and corruption of the Republic,the lives and deaths of the clones,and the fall of the chosen one to the dark side. All of it. For absolutely nothing. But one man's goal for absolute power.

just binged star watrs tcw again, after i watched like the first few seasons, when i was very young, this show is great and i got to see so many things even i didnt see as i was young, deep af show actually
Me and my younger brothers have watched the entirety of the series 3 times now over the years, and every time we rewatch it I just appreciate it more and more, it’s shaped my love of Star Wars in such a big way and given me so many great memories of connecting with my brothers.
Now life is busier, but one day I’d love to sit down and watch it again with them.

When I was little, I never had the Clone Wars Seasons at home. Sometimes i saw a few episodes at my aunts house, but that was it. I alway searched up episodes and moments on RUclips with my old tablet and put everything together like little pieces. I miss these times and wish i could relive them. Times when everything was simple and i had no worries at all. Star Wars will forever be in my heart. Amazing vid. Tysm

Oh my lord was this video amazing, it not just captures each episode almost perfectly but it shows what The Clone Wars is about. The sense of hope, loss, friendship, rivalry… this was perfect.

This was genuinely bone chilling. Such a good idea, and well done too! You got me there with the clone helmets at the burial, I haven't seen that scene in a while and it felt a bit fresh again after seeing the whole build up to it.

Man this is beautiful yet sad. The slow transition from cheery fun times, to darker and serious tones as the war progresses and the animation gets better just as the series gets heavier
To me nothing represents Star Wars better than The Clone Wars.

Its amazing seeing ashoka grown up and the war destroying slowly the Galaxy. So sad that padme had to die and anakin turing to the darkside.
Clone wars, rebels, bad batch. At first glance. The sweet little show, the cool villain of the week, the silly side episode. But then you get those characters. Waxer, Fives, Jesse, kanan, tech. Those moments. Ani and ahsoka, ahsoka and Vader. Ahsoka and Rex, kanan and Hera, kanan and Sabine, omega and crosshair. Those episodes.
Yeah! They do SO well with the inter-character relationships! I LOVE the characters in those shows!
When the clone wars first came out I was just a kid by the end I’m an adult but I love it just as much

This is absolutely amazing.
I have a lot of episodes that I somewhat dislike of TCW, but this made me see that all of them are amazing. I cried a bit watching this, it puts the series together so beautifully. One of the best videos I’ve seen in a while.

I used to go to school while s5 was the last season. That was happy time for me and my close ones. When school has come to an end i watched s5 last episode. I know there smt about to change on me and my life that I can see atm.
Now.. its a hard time for me. Idk what I can and should do in life after school. After watching s6 and s7 this sadness has deeper influence rn

Beautiful. Thank you for making this masterpiece, it reflects perfectly the emotions of the show and how it evolved into more and more sadness and grief in the most elegant way possible. As a person who hasn't watched some of the earlier seasons for a long time, its as if this video restored all my memory of every last second of the show just from these short moments. This truly does make me appreciate how deep the clone wars was and the nostalgia that it carries, as it really hit me, so much so that it brought a tear to my eye (which hasn't happened since the mando season 2 finale) so thank you and may the force be with you.

Every moment mattered
The clone wars is one of those stories whose worlds tell you a surprising amount of stories, if you just listen. But tye most important of all is that, in the end, everyone is just struggling and fighting to survive, in one way or another. There is not true good or evil, only what you're willing to do to and what you're willing to live and die for. Be it for yourself or for others.
I've watched every single episode of seasons 1-6 *at least* 16 times (I stopped counting), and everytime I rewatch it still isn't boring and I still love it
so much death. pain and suffering.
For someone with the thickest plot armor on earth it sure is suprising Cad Bane wasn’t in this once
Should've started with the movie and eneded eith the clone helmet zooming in but besides the point this was really well done! One video and it went viral. Wished that happened to me. Lol. You should do more with Rebels, Bad Batch, Clone Wars 2003, and the Skywalker saga.

No matter how old i get. No matter how hopeless or jaded i grow this show is my rock. I think the opening message of this video rings true especially what shapes you then has an impact in the now.
