She KILLED it in the final! She brought the energy and the confidence and brought the vocals up 10 notches from this performance imo 💕👑!! The slayage was real.
Yes, she really nailed it in the final! Best perfornance she has done! Shame jury votes robbed Norway yet again and also Finland 😭Finland the true winners imo, they was my second favorite after our Queen! I don't think this is the last time we see Alessandra in mgp/esc, maybe a collab with Keiino? 😮
@@tosvus I would not compare them. The MGP was more laidback (more straight forward) and a bit more showoff while this was more confident and rehearsed, I think.
@@iselinfergestad probably more of a personal preference, but I really enjoyed her "pretend anger" in parts with more of a growl, plus I find her whistle note more solid even though it is an E6 in MGP Final rather than F6 in Eurovision Final
Great review from a real singing coach! 👍👍Thanks so much for credible vocal-review also from Norway. I think she does it unique or different each time in live, but that just means it is a real singer with abilities. Yes, improvisations, and she nailed it in grand final I agree. Also, I loved the Semifinal performance too for its distinctions. The best thing was that she relaxed on stage so that is when the brilliance comes. It also once again proves that you don't need a lot of effects or dances or flashes if the presence is there it's good. Stage was a bit dark, but I understand they wanted to highlight her face and expressions. It gave great results (at least by public!! which is what counts.)
I am sad I am not getting notifications from your channel. Today, I was remembering the surprise of Expo 86 in Vancouver. Namely, Dollie De Luxe of Norway. Their Rock vs Opera was way ahead of their time. Their talent and charisma blew the crowds away. So... that made me wonder what Hege was up to. ⭐ This young lady is carrying the torch... You provide such a supportive critique. She is doing you all proud.
Ah they were a fun experimental group ☺️ You saw them live? I wasn't born yet in 86 and they split in the early 2000s I think, but I've seen some of their work on TV. Ingrid Bjørnov (the pianist) has done a lot of creative performances since too, combining comedy and music and storytelling. Thank you so much for watching ☺️ even without notifications.
Wow, what an awesome performance! She's such an amazing singer! So much power and control over her voice. I hope she gets far in her singing career. I can't get enough of those dancers dancing around her. 😃Such a cool song! Got me dancing. lol, Nice to know a little of Norwegian on how you guys have castles and warriors. I wish they air this show in the States. The only Eurovision we have is the Will Ferrell movie Eurovision Song Contest: The Story of Fire Saga. Such a funny movie. 🤣 Btw I like your Brittney Spear's voice. 🤣🤣
Soundcheck probably didnt help, but she was the opening performance of eurovision. First song of the first semi-final. I think that definitely can make someone nervous.
This one is my favorite that’s a shame the judges gave her such a low score and she was better than the Italian guy And omg I’m crushing hard and her saying she likes guys and girls made me feel like I have a chance 😅
Obviously, the Norwegian one (non-biased, hundred percent honest there), and I grew to enjoy Alika from Estonia and Mimicat from Portugal. I had France very early as favourite as I love Edit Piaf, but Portugal was a nice surprise for me after I watched her music video. I also liked Switzerland, and Czchekia. Sweden was on my 6th, and Finland my 7th, then came Ukraine which is growing on me still. I liked Cyprus, but it was a bit too pompous for me.
I agree ☺️. And I think that's understandable given the high pressure she must have felt in the international semifinals on top of her soundcheck not going too well. Hope she enjoys herself tonight!
I might be one listener who enjoys when things aren't aaaalways pitch perfect, although I think she sounded more pitch perfect here in Eurovision final in verses, wheras in NF she sounded more on pitch in the bridge and whistle, but it didn't really matter because it was so clean still. I also have an impression that the big hall had a lot of background echo or chorus as I could hear some cathedral sounds.
how can you pretend to analyze this song without knowing anything about Alessandra? This is indeed essential! Alessandra is not only half Norwegian (mom) and half Italian (dad) but she was also born and raised in Italy . this is essential to understand his way of singing She studied singing from an early age, in the way one studies in Italy, i.e. starting from the classical foundation, and this explains her abilities to use her voice And being Italian also explains her particular clear pronunciation of English, that is the classic way Italians pronounce English , clearly distinguishing syllables and vowels as is typical for a native speaker of an essentially phonetic language try to hear the italian version of this song : ruclips.net/video/K6U20_X86C0/видео.html and the acoustic version; ruclips.net/video/kM1jSA7sV0g/видео.html bye bye
Wow, what a stirring performance! It’s SO dramatic, it reminds me of thunder and of troops marching to battle. Super catchy song! Your analysis was terrific and entertaining too. When you explained the difference between using the high voice (Britney Spears) and the deeper voice, your demonstration of what they sound like was so endearing and cute. It got your point across very well 🙂 Now I know that I need to start following the Eurovision Song Contests in the future! 🙂🔥
@@HegeOfficial my dear, there is always a cultural factor in what we do and pop music is certainly not an exception In Alessandra's case, her Italianness emerged dramatically with the melody of this song which is exactly the melody of .... an Italian tarantella 😮 an example of this melody ruclips.net/video/U-xsosv6uM0/видео.html

I believe the word you were looking for was it's a 'bop'.
Her voice is absolutely incredible, as well as her dress and the performance. And the song is very catchy. Greetings from Spain!
IMO she has the best song this year.

She was also sick the entire time on eurovision..
Have you ever heard you looks like a young Claudia Scott and Kylie Minogue?? You're so beautiful.
