Six years old!? Alex, keep in mind that this is reportedly six year old Norwegian born, Angelina not only blowing our minds with a stunning vocal performance, but she is also reading adult level lyrics, in English, and giving the appropriate level of emotion to the lyrics and her timing was spot on.
And several baby teeth missing. :)
Angelin can speak and read English before 6 yo! Her father has worked/lived in several countries during Angelina's young years. He works in the oil industry, and has traveled a lot! There is a video where Angelina is like 4 yo, she shows her room and her toys etc., there she speaks excellent English.
Regarding fame and celebrity: There are many examples of children who became famous at a young age. Occasionally, some of these have had difficulties later in life! Angelina's family wants Angelia to have a normal upbringing and be a child and teenager like everyone else. Angelina has performed in tons of shows all over the world. Most were charity shows for children. Angelina has lived in several countries and traveled a lot during her upbringing. She is well aware of the different conditions that exist in different countries! Angelina and her family have turned down many who wanted to sign a contract with her. But at 14 yo she signed for the Republican Record. The condition for this contract is that Angelina and her family decide when it is time to fully promote her.
I watched this 3-4 years ago quite cute and equally astonishing as it is to see new reactors such as yourself become beguiled by Angelina’s sincerity, talent and work ethic

If you listen closely you can hear her improve through the course of the recording, her control, power and confidence. Imagine improving within one performance. That is indicative of the learning curve she has followed over her entire life; it is astounding how fast she learns. The question is, how long can she continue that and what will she be able to do in another 10 years?
She did 4 studio recordings at the age of six. This is my favorite. Notice that she’s reading the lyrics in English. So what if she mixed up a couple of words…she didn’t stop…just kept right on singing like a seasoned professional. Love her.
There is actually three other videos recorded just previous to this one which are somewhere out there.
Rolling In The Deep, Hurt, and Sky Fall. They were definitely done at six. As stated some believe she was seven here, due to the development of her teeth. No one has a definitive answer. Actually makes no difference as no other six or seven year old could have done this. None have done this and probably never will. What most don’t consider is that they ar watching history being made.
In the future books will be written, documentaries and movies will be made. Courses will be taught at music schools and universities across the world. Happy to see your journey within Angelina’s world.

If Mozart played his concertos to live audiences or shakespear got on stage and acted in his plays, maybe. But Mozart was deaf by the time his music was acclaimed, and Shakespeare didn't act, reportedly because of stage freight. AJ writes, but also flawlessly performs before giant audiences with the bravado and confidence that anyone 3 times her age would be considered full of themselves for possessing. .

@@johnhurtme Fair point but they are considered GoATs and i couldnt really think of anyone whose skills compare to hers. Though i recently discovered someone who has very similar skills. They are both multi instrumentalists, both compose and rearrange, they are both among the best in the world with their primary instrument, both can sing/play a song after a brief listen and kill it with no rehearsal.
What's really crazy is she's reading the lyrics as she sings and her timing is still right on the money.
I wish I'd been as good the first time I recorded in the studio, and I was an adult. This is incredible. Thanks for sharing it, Alex!

From what I understand Angelina was 6 in this video, 7 on Norways got Talent turning 8 before the final. Whatever the case may be She's just got a stunning voice that's getting stronger and stronger the older She gets. You're right the video is just Gold.

You mentioned her timing. That to me is one of the most impressive things about this performance and all her performances as a very young girl.
This was at the studio at her school. It may or may not be her first time in this studio as there are videos of her doing some other songs. It is however her first take of this song.
Regarding the age debate, some say she is still 6, others say she had just turned 7. Either way it is still before Norway’s Got Talent

Definite gold. I wasn't there of course, but it makes more sense for Angelina to have been 6, not 7, not that it matters, but based on the school she was going to with a studio available. I can't imagine her waiting more than a year to use the studio.

Whether Angelina was 6 or 7, it doesn't matter. For me, what matters is the skill level Angelina had at this early age. Have to believe she had quite a fan base with her schoolmates and their families, by the time she auditioned for Norway's Got Talent. Highly impressive how Angelina interacted with the man doing the recording. She always wants to improve.
Angelina at seven years of age was on American Normas got talent so she was six when she recorded this is that I have nothing she seven she didn’t always got talent so she couldn’t be two places at once so she was six years old when she did this, I guarantee she was stage of seven. She was a Nory’s’s got talent, singing gloomy Sunday.

It’s a bad one she went to Sweden. It was a concert to raise children, food money for the buy food, money and clothes and get water and medical help. I was in Sweden who is a fundraiser not so much a concert, but she did sign in earlier by knows Angelina in Sweden. I don’t go back-and-forth cross the border by the dogs from but they know the people there and they definitely know Angelina Jordan Eric was she a national treasure in Norway

This is one of my favorites, I listen to this a lot, she is so willing to learn and don't effected by criticism, most kids would cry if you told them they had a problem with some of the words. I really like your reactions.
So much to admire about this but one thing that is particularly striking is how well she takes the slight "criticism" at the end and thinks about the little word glitch.... and the fact that this was the first take.. amazing !
Great reaction - It does not matter how old she was - it's just a beautiful rendition - Shirley Bassey was indeed an early influence, there is a hint of that at the end of I put a spell on you. Later she sang Diamonds are forever, and the sound of her song shield was influenced by the Bond Theme songs.

Angelina was only 6 and is still learning English and where and how to apply certain words in English over Norwagin on top of all this she is singing for the first time in a studio an amazing feat for a 6-year-old.

It is jaw-dropping to see this 6 or 7 year old creature, with normal initial fear in the recording studio, when the first notes start he goes into His mode and kills you with this voice and this unique tone of His that no child in the world you can teach, great reaction, good life...Massimo🤩
I am positive she had to be six years old because her hair just wasn’t nearly I was full and thick as it was on the Norway’s got talent show and her face just seemed even younger. Absolutely amazing! I’ve seen this a few times over the last couple of years and I just can’t ever get enough of Angelina!
There are four recordings in this studio around that time. Clothing changes suggest two or more visits.

God, this girl was born to sing. Such power, such control, reading in a language not her own and for a 1st time in a studio it seemed like she was so comfortable in there, that thumbs up was so cute. It's not the first time I've seen this video, but it still blows my mind.

Alex, Angelina's first time in a Recording Studio, would become her Sandbox to play in and her future second home. Angelina was once asked if she loved to sing? She replied, "It's like breathing for me!"
Unfortunately, many of her extensive songs, may have less than perfect sound quality. Fortunately, we still get to watch them over and over again.....
Angelina could have gone on stage with Tom Jones or Shirley Bassey and done a full voice duet with this song and blown them and the audience away At age 6. Incredible confidence, talent, control far beyond her years.

She was late 7 when she participated in Norway git tallent so she might have been early 7 here but 6 is still a better fit.
There ia one more really early videa you should watch because conceptually it is impossible. She is 18 months old in a crib singing a Whutney Houston song. Unfortunately i dont have the link maybe someone can attach it. Because someone gave her a mike and recorded it you can bet it wasnt the first time she sang. So she was singing several phrases in english about the same time she was learning to talk in sentances in Norwegian. So one might say thàt music is her first language. For me this explains the vocal quality and emotion of her performances at 7,8,9 10 years old.

The studio was at her school. This is the first studio performance that has be3n made publicly available. No idea if it's actually her first recording. :)

If you look at Angelina in this video you can see she still have more a baby like face not the same as in NGT when she was 7. May be she was in her very early sevens? For me she look much younger than in NGT. Her behavior was also more like a very young child.

The guy doing the recording who talks to her in the end - is he also the trumpet player during, at least some of, her 7-9 year old performances? I'm thinking of the one who played at the 9yo concert (I Feel Good). And possibly the trumpet player during Summertime at NGT.
Angelina is indeed 6 years old in this video. You have to remember English is Angelina's 3rd language.

Angelina was definitely six, and remember english is her second language. That is the reason for the mixup with wording.
English of course is not Angelina’s first language, at just six it’s hardly surprising she mixed a few words up.😊

That she was actually late 7, or more likely even early 8 here, can be determined by comparing the development of her permanent teeth to the state at her first two NGT performances. I explain this with pictures in more detail in a community post at my channel. The evidence is really pretty clear.

You are absolutely right. If you look very closely, it must be about 2 weeks after the acapella performance. So Angelina is 8 years old in this video.

Norweigan, Farsi, then English but you could argue actually music is her first language.
@@wippletitsno one has heard her speak farsi, but it was probably in Iran where she spoke with the girl she gave her shoes to. I would be very surprised if a little poor girl in Iran spoke english, so they must have spoken in farsi. But this is just a guess.
@@wippletits in her book Angelina says that the girl was about her age ( 6 years old ). Angelina is Norwegian but her grandmother is Iranian, so she probably spoke farsi with Angelina. But since you are a genius, you know more than anybody in this world.
@@wippletits It is very unlikely that a poor little girl in a country like Iran where english is not widely spoken has a guardian that does. Don't know if she speaks japanes, but she sang a song in japanese.
Don't know for a fact that she speaks farsi, but neither do I know that she doesn't. But if you have a grandmother to whom you are very close and she speaks farsi, it is likely they spoke that language in their home.

Actually, she did 5 or 6 covers in this studio and this was one of the last, not the first. The teacher/audio tech was saying that it very good for a first take. This was probably a few months before her Norways' Got Talent audition. It is a shame that the oriingal recording was lost. This is from the spectator viewing room and a cell phone.

@@AJfanboy1 It's obvious when you listen to the vocal growth in all those songs and study her teeth.
Its too bad we don't have the actual studio recording (rather than from a phone) from a later take when she made it through the song without fumbling.
There is another video out there of when she is 5 years old singing Adele, she's pretty bad at that point but mostly because im guessing she hadn't yet learnt how to gauge her own voice yet. Don't worry guys im not being a hater, im just saying from 5 to 6 her voice became even better. Also people also have to remember there was a time when she got good, she reportedly sang from 1½ years old but that doesn't mean she could actually sing. Again im not being a hater here, im just pointing out how she is a natural and quickly improved with whatever guidance she had, and i know people say she had no lessons but she certainly had some sort of guidance.
