I also use Notion to take down the thoughts I randomly have. So that I don't forget them. There are simply too many things to remember day in and day out.

I have never commented on anyone’s video before but this was too good not to, best productivity video I’ve watched, better than the “experts” on RUclips :)

I loved this vid! The last point reminded me of how health professionals highlight the importance of only using your bed to sleep in order to have improve and have good sleeping habits, because you train your brain to know that if you're in bed is to sleep!! so no social media scrolling or eating in bed!
I'll definitely implement these tips! thanks for another valuable vid

Totally! The brain modes is so important because we are creatures of habit so we might as well use that to our advantage.
thanks for taking the time to comment Melissa!

Thank you. I would like to start implementing the Pareto principle since I feel like I spend most of my time not doing the work that actually produces the most results

This is very valuable and a lot of info that I will listen to again. However, I find the music so distracting and unnecessary. I personally am struggling to drown it out.

Unfortunately time blocking doesn’t work with children in the house, unless there is another adult there to look after them. It gets easier as they get older, but it’s inevitable that we will be less productive when they are young (less productive in a business sense - you’re still doing a ton of child-related work!). I look forward to the day when I can schedule an hour of work and actually do an hour of uninterrupted work!

I actually at one time had a separate budget in YNAB for my 168 hours of the week.
Do you have a video that explains how you budgeted your time in 2015 when you were doing all that? I always wonder how people are able to handle schedules like that. In your example, I hear your schedule and think, "That's only 10 hours [I think you said you worked until 10 & had to be at school at 8?] for commuting, sleeping, AM & PM hygiene, exercise, daily chores/food prep, homework, etc."

I once did that in YNAB too when I had a particularly hectic period with 5 jobs plus a lot of volunteer commitments. The answer was to quit some things though, eventually I got hella burned out.
