So tru. I am two days from being a 1 month gunshot wound surviver. 🙌🏾 And I'm like who do I talk to.? Someone who understands is what I want and need but...... Idk. Anyway . Your and inspiration to me Doc. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for watching and leaving your message, and keep on healing. Glad that you found the film of value. And we hope at there is support for you in your community too. Take good care.
Chuck thank you for being so transparent. I remember when this happened and I prayed so hard for you. Praise God for your life and your testimony. May his peace be yours. Love you to life friend.
Thank You . I am a gunshot Survivor paraplegic 2012 and I agree with everything that he said especially when it comes to talking to somebody when your doctors wants you to talk to a psychiatrist or psychologist as he described is exactly what I had to deal and I'm still dealing with . I'm up here in the Seattle WA area I want to attend and be apart of or start a group like this were we can share our experiences and help each other heal from these tragedies , it is hard to talk to friends and family because they may not fully understand or might even victimize you without realizing that they are.
So glad to hear that this video series has impacted you in a positive way. Hope you'll reach out to existing groups to see if they have suggestions on starting a similar group in your area. 💙

Thank you for bringing a perspective of gun violence we don't often see. A powerful voice for survivor's and a real insight for those who choose to use guns carelessly. THANK YOU CHUCK 😊 Renee Kirby
Renee, “gun violence” is just a liberal key words to prejudice us against guns. Violence, all violence is committed by humans. The gun is just the tool used by evil men of violence. Most Americans who carry guns would never harm someone with a gun, except in a case of self defense or defense of a loved one. Shoot straight, stay safe, pray regularly.
Hello Chuck. This was so inspirational and touching. I've always admired you and even more now after hearing you share your story. Thank you and love you my good brother.
I have nothing but compassion for the survivors of being shot by a person. “Gun violence,” is nothing but a liberal key words, because there is only violence, and only mankind can commit acts of violence. The gun is just the tool some evil people use to commit the acts of violence. Shoot straight, stay safe and pray.
I was an innocent gunshot victim sitting on a ledge when a unknown gang member, who came by and seen me as he drove by asking me, where I was from, I looked at him like I am from no where, me a 54 yr old women, he said FY then shot at me two times, I didn’t know I got shot I looked down on my shoes I seen sparks, I realized he just shot at me, then I fell forward, seeing my blood running the the hill, I yelled out loud for help, right away help came my way, I lost my knee bone and fumer bone, I had three surgeries and till this day I have a straight right leg. I was just sitting at the corner was gone to go to the store. I suffered a lot with depression and pain knowing it’s hard for me to go anywhere, I always say to people be Thankful you have all you limbs. There a footage of me on You Tube, I didn’t know someone took a video of this time. It say 54 Women Got Shot on Avenue 43 and Griffin Avenue in Monteceito Heights..
