Thanks for doing this video Cap! In your GR Recommend Modules 2023 video you asked whether you should go back and do a full set of tutorials for the AH-64D and I definitely hope you will. GR carrier landing competition videos are why I got into DCS in the first place, and I've learned all my modules using your tutorials. The reason for using single burst, two reasons. One is that you may be in a situation where you want to take a snapshot without giving them tons of emissions to alert that you're there. Secondly, you can't slew or change the scan area it while it's in continuous. It can't be scanning while you slew. So if you're not sure where they may be, you can do a 180 scan by starting at slew left, single scan, slew front, single scan, slew right, single scan.
NOW it's a Longbow. The video helped me figure out the keys to program into my HOTAS, ED, and Voiceattack. Spent this evening getting everything set up and works as advertised first go around. Also added a couple of little scripted commands in Voiceattack to power up and power down the FCR so I don't have to fool with pressing the buttons. Voiceattack is great for that. Also created a bunch of other scripts, I think my favorite is a little script for night flying, I say "Night Flight" and my script runs through adjusting every panel lighting setting and external lighting as well. I find all this button pushing to be so........unevolved 🤪
TGT buttons works fine. If the radar has targets, you press TGT, now you can choose which target you want to store with the cursor. If you press all instead, all targets of the FCR will be stored.

I have seen a lot of videos trying to find out how to manual lock a target for the copilot. I had no problem with it before but now everything has changed. Any advice? What is it called in the controller options?

The only issue I'm having with it is on some mp servers even with the dome installed the fcr says it isnt. In sp its probably the coolest thing i've seen in dcs in a decade. Its so fun.

Cap. Have you seen Alex Hollings (Sandbox-Air power) latest video about the F-22B (Joint Strike Raptor) that Japan was investigation as a possible solution to their lack of air superiority fighters? We need that built into a GR Mod for the F22, for science!!
P.S. My guess at the probability of US Congress rescinding their ban on investment in foreign F-22 use, is 0%. Besides, it's widely known that the F-22 moulds, dies etc. were all deliberately destroyed. So even if the USAF wanted a single new F-22A, they'd have to literally start by making new designs, moulds, dies, to make a copy of a 90's tech fighter. So if you may as well just put that money into leaving room for a bomber version in the NGAD programmes.
Looks like you also destroyed a medical transport with many wounded soldiers when you blindly shot at all your radar contacts without first identifying them as a definite enemy threat 🙂
If they had a reasonable dynamic campaign I'd be all over this. As is, its a big nothing burger. Spend all that time to learn these neat systems. And then what? DCS needs to get off its high horse and give us a modern version of Apache Longbow.

Completely off topic, but I wanted to put this to your viewers who I consider likely to think about global geopolitics. The Kremlin, by shifting the narrative of their actions in Ukraine from defense of Russians to Restoration of Russian Empire, having utilized Threat of Nuclear Strike for the entire year of 2022, and much of 2023, has created a situation where the only option for all other nations is to get nukes as quickly as possible. I say this because the Kremlin's apparent new world order is one based on Nuclear Armed Expansionism as the norm. This, in my view, suggests that within 3 or 4 decades, after dozens of smaller nations rush to build tactical and strategic nukes, some number of these will fail to secure their nukes, either by theft, or by state dissolution and theft, or by mad officer getting a wild-hair. That, in my mind, suggests that if the world allows the Kremlin to appear to have won in Ukraine, the future of the world includes the near random vaporization of cities and human structures. I do approve of evidences to the opposite, but I've not been privy to hearing any.
Tacticaly it's not attractive for any side to use nukes, MAD has always been a very good deterent for using such weapons, and how can you be a world leader when the majority of the world is dead or dieing, does that make any sense

how did you get into the continous search mode? did I miss it or did you not say which button you pressed?
TSD will only show additional targets in ATK phase.

You need to change your selected sight back to hmd with sight select switch up. That should fix the problem.

Apache has link function. It can slew TADS to FCR contact. We will get it in future update.

The logic between single burst and continuous burst is slightly different. continuous for one remembers the priority queue between each burst.
