I must say you are really one of the nicest people on the 'Tube. You have taught me to be fearless and take a chance that I could do this too. Many blessings to you.
So much inspiration and ideas in this video, thank you Mey! We know many people we use Repper for paper packs, from bold hero patterns to subtle pastel patterns to use as backgrounds.
Fab video. Love Repper too and learned a lot of tips from this video! I think it would be great if you made a Repper channel 😉😂 Can you make a Repper playlist, please? 😊
I feel like it does take being a bit creative to play around with repper and get good results, but maybe you're "not creative" in the sketch/illustration way, which can be "solved" with repper
Love, love, love this video Mey! I've started working on digital papers to sell. I always learn so much from you. Question. You mentioned in the video that there would be info on how much $$ you have made selling digital papers. I don't see the info here anywhere. Am I missing it? Thx so much!
Thank you, Mey! I had to play around with my tile size to get a 4 repeat to result in seamless, but after I got it, I got it! This makes it so much easier. Thank youuu. I'm SO disorganized. I just started an excel sheet to try and keep it all in there.
There are SO many things people can do with Repper! If you wanna get the most out of Repper I recommend watching this video: ruclips.net/video/VbhTlrM0XCs/видео.html
Another great video. I love Repper too. I want to use it to design clothes and wearable. I can't seem to get the seamless pattern part down right. thank you so much.
I've been trying to figure out pricing tiers for different packs. I think one of my best ideas is to have lowest price tier as personal use for non-repeat patterns. Of course, I know someone can still use it commercially but if they want to make a seamless pattern it's an extra step that might not be possible with certain reppr tiles. I am increasing my price tiers based on file type/format and license type. For example, a file of seamless patterns in PNG format only for POD license costs less than a file containing PNG and SVG, Adobe illustrator formats of same seamless patterns for POD license. Also toying with the idea of exclusives. Like, making a coordinated pattern collection with unlimited commercial use but only one person can purchase any one design collection. I saw this being done on Pattern Bank and some of those exclusive patterns are selling for around $100 each pattern.😯
Thanks for another informative video! I especially appreciated you mentioning fourth walls and other income streams. Your transparency about having multiple income sources is inspiring. It would be fantastic if you could create a series dedicated to exploring different online income options, like affiliate marketing.
I have made several videos on these topics, and there was a full affiliate marketing how to over on patreon. Unfortunately, despite people asking for videos about Affiliate Marketing here, RUclips doesn't push the ones I make to subscribers, as RUclips kinda decides what your niche is and what videos to push out. I am gonna be talking a bit more on these topics as a whole in the next few months' goals videos (every first of the month)
@Meytribe I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for the incredible content you create. Your videos resonate deeply with me, and I often find myself watching them multiple times. Your dedication and passion shine through, and I even take notes to absorb every valuable piece of information you share. While I may not fully understand the intricacies of the RUclips algorithm, I trust that you’ll find a way to incorporate my request into your upcoming videos. Your attentive approach to your followers’ feedback assures me that my voice won’t go unheard. Thank you once again for your inspiring work, and I eagerly await your next video! Warm regards
Can you not just export them all together? Also when doing patterns, the ones that were not 1:1 could we not just choose the tile option and export that, as it will be seamless as just the tile, wouldn't it?
You can, but when you export multiple files they all have the exact same settings, so you lose the manual adjustment of DPI (if for some the DPI isn't enough) and the number of repeats when it comes to the general look of the paper.
@@MeyTribe If you export your patterns as single tiles and use the "Maximum" export setting, each pattern will be exported at its own ideal size => maximum resolution without upscaling!
I will make a few more and upload them together, I usually give larger sizes, so working on it today, to accompany the newer paper packs: meytribe.com/b/W3Lgq meytribe.com/b/WUQ50
You can sell them on marketplaces like Creative fabrica, creative market, Etsy, or on your own shop (just like I mentioned in the video), or monetize them with KDP or Print on Demand.

I love your videos! I get so inspired! Actually, a secret, I needed to write my thesis but I prefer watching your videos! 😅😅😅😂😂😂
In the fall of life trying to learn new skills. I pray I can do all you have said. Can't wait to be a testimony for you.😊
Learn, try, fail, learn from that, learn more skills, try again. (that's how it was for me at least :))
And good luck

Applaud such amazing videos that you make! Thank you! Hey Mey, could you do a tutorial on creating insta or other social media backgrounds for posts?
Like, using these for instagram, or creating the digital paper for IG posts to sell ?
I know the square designs in Repper are seamless. What are other ones that I can use?

What is the best way to sell paper packs? I bought Repper 12 + years ago and use it on my one art. But could't find how to monetize it.
