Lmaooo Scotland road? HELL NO. Or the second class stairs when that creepy ass reverend would jump out at you, looking like death, muttering about the end-times, then has the audacity to ask for a donation?!? 😹This game is def eerie-glam in the best way possible.

I was obsessed with this game as a kid. I played through it dozens of times. After several moves and now being in my 20's I wonder if we even still have the original CD-ROMs. No one else has ever said all of what I love about this game so perfectly. The insane detail in the game is one of those things that I'll always be impressed by. They really got every detail form the actual ship down to the china plates in the cafe. The story I didn't quite understand first playing the game at 5 yrs old, but later on when I understood what was happening it became even more interesting. Theres so much replayability with all the different side quests and different endings. I became obsesssed with the history of the titanic watching documentaries and Ive even seen the travelling exibits multiple times!!. Im just so glad someone else grew up loving this game like I did.

I first played this game at an uncle's house a few month's after the James Cameron movie was released, and was blown away at the time by the quality of the experience. The experience on board seemed far more intriguing than the actual outcome of the game. I was hoping the objective was to simply escape without sinking on the ship (i.e. being denied entry onboard a lifeboat), but to have it simply turn into an alternate history for the two World Wars, I felt like something was missing in the game, considering I've never heard a history professor proclaim that the sinking of the Titanic was a direct cause of the World Wars. It still remains just human error like many accidents due to impatience, and nothing political or anything else that paved the way ahead. Its still a nice game to play if you have the chance, although I'd beef it up by having you play as in a different class (i.e. 1st class= Easy, 2nd class= medium, 3rd class= difficult), making it harder to escape the less you had. Good/bad endings could have included the presence of women/children in your family. It's still a great game for its time.

Yes indeed!!! My dad bought me this game when I was in first grade (1998). I am a senior, and about to graduate from college, and at 27, I STILL love playing this game. And it's funny to see my dad smile when he sees me play it. His exact words, "You still play your Titanic game?" I love everything about this game: the story, the plot, the graphics, the characters, the music, and the list goes on and on. I'm also crazy about the Titanic, and I guess that contributes to me loving this game so much.

Beyond its cult following, the main legacy of this game are the countless kids who grew to become Titanic enthusiasts - or even historians - by simply playing it. Mission accomplished, I guess.

the ability to (nearly) free roam a 3D recreation of the Titanic was mindblowing at the time; this was when PCs were still a new thing & the dial-up era of the internet provided basic articles with low res pictures & videos.

Dude I just found this and you crushed it with its description and what it truly means as an incredible game. I remember seeing this at Target when they had a big PC section and no grocery. I finally got a Target gift-card for Christmas and was able to buy it. However, we got so stuck all of the time so we bought the walkthrough guide (Book) and I remember playing with my little cousin and she was like 5 or 6 and we met Jack Thacker and in his dialogue he says SOB and my mom overheard and goes "Did he just say what I think he said". Now it's funny but back then not so much when your younger cousin heard it and your mom is pissed. Then again my aunt said worse. My sister and I tag-teamed and finished the game together. Our favorite quote is from Third Officer Morrow "No moon." Thanks for the video!~!

I was OBSESSED with this game as a kid! It thoroughly creeped me out with the ominous music and setting. For some reason, I've been thinking about it a lot lately and decided to finally look it up. I stumbled on this video and I'm so glad I did. I was going to buy it on Amazon, but the reviews say the old CDs won't work on new lap tops anymore. SO excited that there is a way to get it now! I'm like 80% sure I found this game at a garage sale when I was a kid, and I think a CD was missing or something, because I could not advance past a certain point. And despite my constant begging, my parents would not buy a new version for me. Good bye all productivity... I can not wait to play this game again!!!

I searched youtube for this game specifically when I saw another newer sra titanic game on Nintendo Switch eShop because it was one of those games that exuded 90s kid childhood wonder.
