This was so sweet! You are such a natural with this style of ASMR. Also I really feel you with being a super shy introvert! Thank you, you are amazing!
You sharing your current job search difficulty is a much needed refresher for me. I am in the same boat with a BA in Psych and minor in Anthro. It's been a struggle for sure. We will find our ways, I appreciate the ASMR :)
I love your hand movements! It's super tingly when asmrtists try a trigger they're not used to doing, I find it really relaxing 😊 My advice for finding a job would be to look at volunteering somewhere to get some experience. I volunteered as an admin assistant for a charity and I think that helped me land more interviews. I know it's not as good as being paid, but if you're still struggling to find work it could be something to look at? Maybe there's an animal shelter or stables that would let you help out a couple days a week? It's so stressful getting a job, good luck with it! 💖
Your whispering is just as good as your soft spoken, and your hand movements were fantastic too, this was a great video, especially for your first time doing hand movements. I wish I could give you advice, in my country it's easier to get a job (even without many qualifications) I wish it was easier for you guys in the US, best of luck though and hopefully someone can provide good advice to help you. And thanks for the video, you did a great job 🙂
You did a great job on this video for not knowing what to do. Just being yourself and telling us a little bit about you made this so enjoyable. I love your room too. I was a teen in the 70's so it looks like a room I'd have.
This was super relaxing to me! For what its worth your personality seems really likeable and genuine in this, so just be yourself in interviews and they should go fine :)
I graduated with a bachelor’s in psychology. I recommend starting out at a local mental health facility or hospital. You can be a case manager or patient coordinator. Get your foot in the door. And if you get your masters, you can move up the ladder and be director of certain programs. Or end up using the experience elsewhere. As far as interview advice, speak about your organizational skills, your passion for ethics, and your genuine care for people. BE SURE to ask them questions about the job. Ask what difficult decisions would one face, what’s a typical day like in that position, etc. I wrote questions down and pulled them out in my interview. I got the job. And about being shy, admit it to the interviewer. Before you answer the first question, say “I am normally a shy person, but it’s something I’m working on. I know experience brings forth confidence, and I’m looking forward to obtaining that confidence.” Or something like that. Trust me, they will know you are shy. Best of luck, and let us know how it goes!
Your videos are amazing. I've been sleeping like a baby for the last couple of days. Keep up the good pace, and soon, your channel is gonna explode guaranteed.
This is so relaxing, This is amazing, Your voice is so relaxing and You're so pretty. Thank you so much for sharing this video with us, Have a great weekend.
Introverted people are often the most interesting ones. Whatever u end up doing, try always being true to your own voice and values. Not “selling out”, has for myself, been the only way to go. Freedom before comfort. Wish u all the best✨
agreed -- so secretive w/o meaning to be. I feel you about not selling out. I dont want to work for something/someone who I do not feel aligned with. Thank you for your comment!!
you could look for a reception job and feel out if there are other positions in the company you want - sometimes its easier to get hired for another position once ur in the company already
I've been recruiting all my career.. it's all about psychological profiling. I'm painfully introverted too. But in a job hunt you have to be an actor. Act out the most positive persona you can. Get to know the employer inside out. You never know what indicators they are probing for and a lot of filtering is done using A. I. So learn you demonstrate basic indicators in your interview conversation for things like Teamwork, Personal Development, Setting objectives, Adaptability, End user focus, Communication, Ensuring Understanding, Financial Awareness, Developing the Team, Meeting group objectives .... I think they are the most common. The applied technical and professional skills you have learnt are only a fraction of the selection criteria. It's all about behaviours.
This may end up in my favourite videos oat not gonna lie😮, the mix of your voice and hand movements is so tingly and you trying to do hand movements for the 1st time and doing it so perfect
I think the hand movements are mostly about tiring the eyes trying to watch and focus on them ... I think ... combining them with instructions really tires the brain quickly.
For the record, whispering is bad for the vocal cords and speaking softly is MUCH better in my book when it comes to the giving of the ASMR but it's good that you're broadening your horizons, as they say
