- Canadian songstress Ruth Moody was a world away from the wintery prairies, on her tour down under in the middle of a scorching Australian summer. But, it was a homecoming of sorts, as she was actually born in Australia before moving away and making her name in the world of North American folk music. She played the picturesque Milton Theatre in 2015 and absolutely knocked the socks off the attentive crowd!

I became acquainted with Ruth Moody through her fabulous work with Mark Knopfler. I moved on to all her albums, both solo and with the Jennys. I am more than ready for some new material. Does anyone know if anything new is in the pipeline for Ruth or the Wailin’ Jennys?
