Very cool project - thank you for sharing. I suppose Siglent want an arm and a leg for their cables. You can use the HP clips and Dupont male to female cables with your DIY pods.
Thank you for the great content !! Is it possible to let us know if there is the ability to record data with the logic analyzer and not to see only 1 screen like a typical oscilloscope does ? Kind regards, kyf
Makes me want to build that little DSO oscilloscope kit even more XD (i've had it since february) I do not have one at all at present. Cheers for the share!
Well thats neat. I have one of these scopes but couldnt afford the Siglent option this might be good However I was under the impression you had to get a license upgrade hope Im wrong?
If you change the text notation from binary to hex you will drop at least 6 characters from the text which may be enough to clearly display all of the data. Who wants to read binary anyway?
lead free paste?? and I think you may need to think of how you apply the paste :-) no tombstones that's lucky lol, I like PCBWAY have used them a couple of times and the boards were all okay
@@fredflintstone1 I don't have the patience to sit there with a needle putting paste onto each individual pad... although that is what I should have done.

That's a fiddley job, worth it in the end.....cheers.
awesome job! are you selling this probe assembled? I need to purchase a couple but I want to skip the soldering and testing part.
Its not mine to sell.
can you please check link to your project on PCB way. It seems not to be working.

It is very easy to hack these for full options and Max bandwidth, look on the EEVBlog forum.

I should have got a stencil!
@@TheDefpom or perhaps not put it on like butter:-)

@@TheDefpom You could laser cut your own on sheet acrylic. Doesnt need to be a metal stencil.
Nice
The gut at Uni-Byte has "upgraded"...wink wink say no more! :) his Siglent to 500Mhz. You might want to contact him to do yours.
I already upgraded mine ages ago.
