Bones hyland and jamal Murray hated each other. Jamal had an issue with him being such a defensive problem, and with how Jamal has been lately, if he wants you gone unless you’re jokic or jokic steps in and says “nah, I want him” you’re gone. Also, bones wanted to be a starter and wanted to get a big contract which we weren’t gonna pay him. There were already behind the scene chemistry issues where a lot of vets didn’t like his work ethic or shot IQ, and then middle of the game, bones just gets up and leaves and goes to the locker room, and that was the last straw. Which I guess was indicative of how he was behind closed doors, and Malone was sick of his attitude, which is probably the reason he’s been loosing minutes to Christian Braun. As a nuggets fan, it needed to happen, he needed to go, but 2 2nd round picks?!?!?!? We paid 3 for Thomas Bryant to play 8 minutes off the bench, and we gave bones away for 2?!?!?!?
"Wait till the summer and get the star then". The mavs have beem doing that amd saying that for 20 years and still havent been able to actually do it so no they couldnt wait till the summer plus which good free agent was actually goung to be available? No one better than kyrie

Masai acknowledged they didn't get the offers they wanted (at least 1 young player + pick), for example Warriors not wanting to include Kuminga for OG. I know they got 3 frp offers for OG but remember not all frps are equal, the ones offered by teams were 23-30th range picks which I think are useless (why try to draft for another OG when you already have OG?). I also think the main big buyers who wanted FVV/GTJ, Lakers + Suns + Clippers went with other plans after kyrie and kd were made available. I'm disappointed but w/e, at least we got Jak back
Another reason they traded d'angelo was because when dlo leaves in FA they lose that money, they don't gain 30 mil in cap space because of goberts contract so trading for Conley they keep an extra 20 mil of a contract they can trade next year
Big agree with Don. GP2 is a phenomenal role player. He’s such a genuinely nice guy, a team player, a smart and aggressive defender, and he fit the warriors’s scheme in a great way that allowed them to keep their momentum or switch up their pace. Love GP2

Everyone has a problem with mavs defense but they literally have more better defenders than the suns. Everyone fails to mention their 3 best defenders kleber, finney and josh green all basically missed 2 months. Yall are underestimating them. All healthy they are better defensively than the suns
