I have bought a Bizerba slicer. The rotary knob is not rotating. I doubt it might be locked in place. Do you have any suggestions of how to unlock it? Thanks for your help
It's probably locked in place. The whole arm releases for cleaning and when it does that the dial locks in place with a safety. Most likely you have some damage in the arm carrier underneath the slicer that contains the safety lock.
If the arm moves okay, and the dial is locked, it still means there are broken internal parts behind the dial. It most likely is the "plastic wheel" that is cracked behind the dial.
