It looks good bc peach/salmon/red (depending on your skin tone!) color corrects while the concealer provides the coverage most correctors don't. Then again it is Darcei, queen of everything-looks-good-on-me... 🤭
It’s more like a color corrector. This is the technique I’ve been doing for quite some time now. But I use red lipstick and mix it with a light concealer. It hides my dark circle

I use my Colourpop stick blush and mix it with my concealer to color-correct under my eyes and make sure my concealer doesn't leave a weird grey-cast. Glad i'm not the only one.

The amount and shade you applied is basically colour correction. If you make it more intense, it looks like the placement of Clasical Chinese Opera pink gradient. Also, applying the blush right under the eyes (instead of on the apples, TMJ or temples) is a common style/way to do it in Korea, Japan, China and some other surrounding countries. It gives a more rounded, innocent blushed face vibe. Just one more option to choose according to the mood of the day☺️

Wow that looks so good! It like color theory. Whatever tone is on your face you want to cover, take the opposite color to correct it. Like the if it's green under your eyes you would want to use a red toned concealer. Or if it's blue under your eyes you would use yellow. I don't actually remember why this works but I saw a video one time and I have tried it before so I know it does
It is the same concept behind undereye neutralizing products, as the peachy-pink shade counteracts dark circles. Now, I've applied too much if those products before and... maybe my skin tone is too light, because it just looks obvious that I'm wearing makeup 😅 One caveat is that I can use my undereye product - SPARINGLY - without foundation or concealer (for "no makeup" makeup days) and it'll work, neutralizing and brightening, but gotta be careful not to use too much!
omg try either aquaphor or cerave healing ointment and put like two dots of liquid lipstick and mix it and it’s perfect for blush. only use a little tho
It essentially turned it into a peachy color correcting concealer, I think the rare beauty is a fantastic liquid blush for this type of experiment bc it sets down like a long wearing product as opposed to some creamy face blushes.
Another option is to set your undereye with a sheer pinky powder blush or to mix the blush with your setting powder (dip brush into setting powder, tap excess, dip into blush, tap excess, apply). Fantastic color corrector for bluey undereyes (like mine) and looks way more natural.
I got a pink coral lip color that was too light for me so now I mix it with my concealer and it works wonders on my hyperpigmentation scars and under eye circles
I do this sometimes because I put my blush slightly in the ‘sunburnt’ look cause it suits my face, but it helps it not look ACTUALLY sunburnt. It also helps with concealers looking too yellow
It looks good because peachy colors cancel out the darkness of the undereyes. You can also do this by using a light pink powder to set the concealer. That's what I do and I'm never going back
Try pixie color correcting concealer. It cancels the dark eye bag out. They have three colors and the darkest peach works great for darker skin tones 💜
I too do it...like I try to cover the dark circles by blending out blushes or simply the eye shadows which is on the red or pinky or peachy color. I don't use concealers due to my extra extra dry skin. But I like what I'm doing more.
