Relax you knew exactly what she was trying to say. I don’t see why you had to correct this person. They were making a nice comment and you had to add a unnecessary correction which everyone understood what was meant.
Even though he mostly just sits around in these sketches Rick is a pretty positive influence on Kaitlyn. In the other Kaitlyn sketch he talks about how much he loves Kaitlyn's mom and reinforces the idea to his brother that he shouldn't be afraid of marriage.
@@maryallison0509 RUclips comments are editable. One reason for pointing out typos is so people can fix their original comment, so it's easier for future readers to read. Without having to stumble over the wrong word before figuring out that it was supposed to be "underlying".
It's also maybe helpful to help someone learn the English language better, if they'd misheard the standard phrase or something.
So there are lots of helpful reasons to post a spelling correction, not just to rub someone's face in a mistake. Since there was no insult included in the comment, no reason to assume malice.

I think this skit is funny and it's really touching, too. I've worked with ADHD kids and honestly? They all could use a person like Rick in their lives. He knows when to engage and when not to, when to set a boundary and when to let things go, and he is attuned to Kaitlyn's fears and supports her, helping her return to safety when she's crossed a line, without ever shaming her.
People who have worked with special needs kids will know what I am talking about.

Christian Soldier actually, people with adhd have significantly less mass in the frontal lobe of their brain, which makes stuff like decision making and focusing on a task difficult. While I can’t deny that people are overdiagnosed, people with adhd reaaally benefit from the medication they take, it helps them function in daily life on a level that the rest of us already do

I didn't recognize her either. I'm American and when I heard her accent, it struck me as somewhat antiquated-- like something out of a 1980s movie. It's a dialect I'm envious of. Very movie-star and old fashioned. You don't really hear it irl.

I really enjoyed that! I like that they kinda had a family vibe. The cousin was sweet in a way. I laugh the most at Horatio just concentrating on not breaking.
