Seeing this makes me smile so hard! It's so incredible to see recordings of a family's life from many years ago! Thank you so much for sharing, bud! 😁💙
Great looking family y'all ! Thank you for sharing your memories which I thoroughly enjoyed since I am from the same time era ( born in 54) and it in many ways looked familiar and was reminiscent of my own upbringing . What precious footage of years gone by .
David...I think (the one whose voice on the left speaker side)...sounds somewhat like TV talk show host from past: Dick Cavet. These are great! Comments of your family members are precious. Remembering all the items in and around the scenes...what happened in each scene...what more could one share in family films of the past decades. As said in the past film of the 1950's era...your dad and others did a good job in working the old movie camera(s). Thanks!
Thanks for your kind words! Rick is the one on the (audio) left side. You can hear his pretensions to a TV/radio announcer on RUclips's "collectornet" channel.
Love this so much, I want to crawl back in and never come out! I was born in 1957 so I can relate to it all! Thank you for sharing, my family’s home movies are in a closet decaying somewhere.
I don't know you folks from Adam, but thanks for sharing your old home movies. I'm a child of the 60s and 70s and these movies brought back some great memories with my family. Our families are very similar.
Thanks! I'm finding there is a great deal of similarity and common ground between people. This shouldn't be surprising but it seems to be--and it makes one wonder just how and why we got so divided up in this country?
@@ClassicHomeMovies I agree about similarities between people, and perhaps I should have used better terminology, but when I say our families are similar, I mean as I was watching your home movies I realized that for nearly every family character in your family there is pretty much a doppelgänger in mine! LOL My brother and I are just like you and your brother and our dad is just like your dad. I mean similar in appearance AND speech! LOL. I had grandparents with the same accent as yours, and some of my aunts and uncles look and act just like yours. My little sister looked exactly like the young girl in the video where someone calls her "Olivia Newton John". It was almost like watching my own family. Haha! We also lived in the same style house in the same type suburban neighborhood and went on vacation in the late 70s cross country towing a camper trailer behind our car! It's almost surreal! LOL
@@JohnHWelch63 Wow. Now if your little sister's name is Tracy... now that would be amazing. (That's my cousin Tracy who is being called "Olivia Newton John" by her father, my Uncle Don. That, of course is in "The 1970s" movies with sound.)
@@ClassicHomeMovies There was only one thing that disappointed me. I thought for sure I was the one who invented air guitar in 1968, but lo and behold, it turns out your cousin invented it 4 years earlier! I'm crushed! Hahaha!
wow the quality is amazing! thanks for sharing
What I'd give to rewind the clock!

I was born in the 80s people seem so much happier back then.
So lucky to have his material
I loved how we all seemed to make that special effort to dress for holidays.
My family was the same way .
