This song was written by Neil Finn, the founder of Crowded House. I've always thought of this song as an upbeat look at relationships. He is saying that you should never let yourself think about it being over. If you can keep that thought in your head and heart there should always be a way to work it out. Sounds like a good theory huh?
The song made it to number 2 on the BillBoard Hot 100 in 1986. Hopefully some of you guys who were around back then will remember it and appreciate our cover of this one. Please leave a "like" and comment if you do watch and listen.
Frank sings with his usual stellar vocals, Gordon keeping us in time with a cool set of Yamaha electric drums and John and I switched it up for this recording. He still plays lead on my awesome 1997 Bourgeois Country Boy (Ricky Skaggs Signature Model) and I am playing rhythm on my sweet 1994 Gibson Hummingbird.
