By the time i started (or was old enough i should say) to get into Zanzibar (because they sold liquor) ...this era of music had passed and House was in heavy rotation. LARRY LEVAN was still rocking this along with the new sounds but i didn't know anything about the Paradise Garage at this time, I'm like 17/18 just starting out in the "Scene", TONY HUMPHREYS played the classics too but i don't recall the lower tempo tracks like this.
Lady's had a classy black queen direct voice road the rhythm and gave it a second to breath you felt the music the bass was always on time and the horns was the black groove the keyboard took you back to a black church but over all it was and can never be duplicate funky music I am happy to be be aware of my sarronding thank you all the people who came before me
Now this was a True Paradise Garage Classic. Larry played one night about 3 times. Loved that bassline.

Tony would rock it every so often. You had a better chance of hearing it on the radio after 10 pm on the weekends.
