I remember it, like it was yesterday. Back in the days the channel CSP Trials had around 50 subs, I subbed, and was like the ~51st subsriber. still makes me cry everday. it's insane.
Dirt jumpers usually have low bottom bracket, thus they are terrible on rear wheel. Trials bikes at first glance look similar but they have much higher bottom bracket which makes a bike bit unstable at high speeds but great at balancing on the rear wheel. This goes in sync with all other aspects of geometry.
Sputnikk The Great A dirt jumper is like a bigger bmx, and the bike is made for tricks. A dirt jumper has gearing for high speeds like a bmx and most people dont use front brakes on them. But you could make a dirt jumper decent for trials by lowering the gearing and getting a front brake on it.
Thanks for the comparison! I want to learn more bike control like trials to get over obstacles but I love the nimbleness of 20" bmx. I'd love to see you ride a 24" bmx like Sunday model C or Stolen Saint XL and what you think of them.
Bro you should have done that comparison between a BMX and a 20" mod bike.. PS that inspired is nice! I wish I'd waited to get one of them as opposed to buying my Czar 24" street - on the sunny side I'm awaiting the arrival of my Echo Ti pro 20" which I expect is gonna be epic to ride!
Awkward geometry. Its too unstable to land on jumps with a trial bike due to the fork being straight out instead of slightly offset like most bikes. Not to mention gear ratio is way too low and you can't pedal effeciently to pick up speed for dirt jumping. The BMX bike is the better bike to use for dirt jumping
Ian Paule you can get different type of brake by different brands which all pick up the price. The wheels, stem, handlebars, derailleur, gears and cranks also change the price as some are Pricier than others.
That's the Inspired Skye, Danny Macaskill's signature bike. Of course its gonna be expensive since the market for Street trial bikes is still very small.
haha thats a jump bike its not trials geometry look at that short ass stem an low bb not a magura hs33 in site who you kidding with ya 60psi its basically a saracen from 98.
have you ridden trials?? its not a comp bike but if you know street trials youll know about the Drop n Roll team and that this is a popular Trials bike

Im pretty sure I actually remember seeing your subscription notification back when you first subscribed. Thank you for all your support!
+CSP Trials That's cool. I need to say thank you for the videos :)
Why not a dirt jumper? You get good geometry/size, can ride skatepark, and just exchange the drivetrain for lower gearing when you do trials

Nice Video! If you come from the world of downhill & freeride, Trials feels better b/o the breaks :D
if i run brakes in the bmx, will they be strong enough for me to do rear wheel hops?
Screaming Eagle maybe, but it would be a bit sketchy
Screaming Eagle yes, I can sorta do them
How do trials bikes handle dirt jumps? Can they handle dirt jumps?

U can get a trail from eBay that's where I am getting mine
How much inch is the bmx
#TheDutchers it is usually 20 inches and trials bikes are 24 or 26 inches
u should do an asmr video with your hub.. that is music to my ears..

That trials bike ain't 3,500 I have both hydraulic brakes and those were only 500 and my frame is alumin and I have gears too and my bike only 1500
Ian Paule you can get different type of brake by different brands which all pick up the price. The wheels, stem, handlebars, derailleur, gears and cranks also change the price as some are Pricier than others.
the trial frame look like a bmx frame...imagine if you put a bmx wheel on that trial frame
3500$ for your trials bike? Thats really fucking expensive for a trials bike.
That's the Inspired Skye, Danny Macaskill's signature bike. Of course its gonna be expensive since the market for Street trial bikes is still very small.
Yeah true but I found a Danny macaskill replica onza for 400

I wish somebody would invent a wireless brakes😀

haha thats a jump bike its not trials geometry look at that short ass stem an low bb not a magura hs33 in site who you kidding with ya 60psi its basically a saracen from 98.
have you ridden trials?? its not a comp bike but if you know street trials youll know about the Drop n Roll team and that this is a popular Trials bike

I stopped watching when you said you need brakes for trials.
BMX 👎👎👎 trial 👌👍👍👍
lol
You bike LMFAO !
bmx better
You bike
bmx is ussually chromoly frames
sam matchett yea... Chromoly is a type of steel
he should have specialized that, pretty much all bikes are a type of steel only a few are aluminum.
sam matchett most mountain bikes are of aluminum
yea some are but there are a lot of carbon fiber ones now
Bmx is better
Bmx bikes are made out of chromoly not steel
