I am really going to like watching this build I actually work at a Peterbilt dealership in Nova Scotia Canada and love everything about this and would love to build one of my own!
RC Everyday yeah I bet lol nothing beats the old style Petes and may I suggest maybe painting the engine block a different colour blue doesn't really match any engine that was ever in a Peterbilt lol I am fond of the Cats.
Im not sure yet what to do with the engine. Models of diesel engines this size are few and far between. The cat model isnt nearly as detailed as these Ive been getting from china.

Such amazing craftsmanship. Not only great looking but the way everything fits and allows room for the electronics, as well as the attention to detail is awesome. Looking forward to seeing this truck come to life.
I'm glad you kept the scale size correct as your other rat rods you got to keep the family portrait looking right. But honestly I wish you would have done a cab over I think they look awesome you know the kind of hide the motor but just ways to get around that you can put the motor behind the cab

Love it. Always been a huge fan of rat rod semi trucks. I remember seeing 2.2 duallies but unfortunately don't remember where I saw them. It may have been Integy I think. I'll look into it here soon. They were sweet too. Anodized aluminium in many colours and spoke patterns. Pretty sure it was Integy.
You do some really nice work you put a lot of workmanship and time into building them I would love to have one would you be interested in building one for me I just want everything but the electronics I could do that myself I have been building RC cars and trucks for 22 years I'm big into brushless I have a lot of Traxxas and redcat I just got through building a Traxxas rustler I done a test run on earlier today and it ran 68 MPH I want one of the rat rod car's

Need to find something that would look like a 445 super single for the rear. Maybe a street tread for a 2.2 buggy or truck. As far as the die cast engine, definitely not a 12 valve. With the rear mounted air compressor I was thinking Mack, but they still front mount the fuel pump. I am going to hazard a guess that it is a European engine, or maybe a New Holland tractor engine since its blue. That is a sweet looking truck though.

....come to think of it, 1.9 semi wheels would do a good job of replicating 24.5 truck tires. Currently we're only getting 22.5 stuff. Also wish we had super singles.

I have both and the internals are the same as a team raffee and xtra speed. It was like the 3:1 version doubled up, I had done the calculations on it in the past.

Rcp on RUclips has a 10th scale Kenworth
It might be a xtra speed gear reduction unit or similar. The ratio is 10:1.
Warwick Campbell it’s a 5:1 planetary gearbox. Hopefully it will have a good bit of speed.
