- I'm totally re-doing my betta breeding rack! It's going to be SO much better and easier to maintain, I can't wait to get it all finished!
What do you think about the color? Haha I have to make it fancy :P

The betta Api Api looks so cute! I never knew they even existed! Also, great job on the tank rack! Can't wait to see it all set up again.
They are adorable, and critically endangered! I'll have a video on them shortly. I'll be setting up a bunch of spawn tanks to mass-produce these guys (hopefully) to get them out into the hobby more

Plastic totes are WAY under rated! I use them for propagation boxes for house plant cuttings, isopod breeding, fish, all kinds of things.

What type of rack system do you have? I've been doing some research and I am finding that the systems for garage storage works the best. I also plan to use my rack as a bookshelf/display shelf. Mostly I am concerned about the amount of weight each shelf can carry.

To see what changes you have gone through and how good you hobby is going is inspiring. I am all the way from New Zealand and am going to try breed either Koi Plakat Bettas or Half-moon Plakats. That's very kind of you! I don't typically do livestreams or be a guest on streams, my schedule (kids work fish house chores aaaaah!) rarely allows it!

Hah! Well I decided the space my tanks are in needs some brightness to it, so I'm going through the effort of making pretty colors. Black looks nice with everything though!
My rack is from home depot, it's a husky shelf and was probably in the ~$250 range. THere are a lot of sizes and dimensions to choose from, I chose a size that worked for my space and that could fit 10 and 20gs on it.

Hello..! what's up! I watch your vedio from Bangladesh. you are the best one for betta I think. I just want to know from you that how many times a betta male fish in his life ready for breeding..! if many times so how many days after ready for breeding? please inform me.!
Hey thank you! A male can be to breedable size at 4-5 months I think, and he could spawn many times. GIving a male a rest between spawns is a good idea so he doesn't get skinny, I think a week of feeding well is a good idea, then you could spawn again.
Females will take longer to grow more eggs, at least 2 weeks of feeding well

10 gallons(top tanks) = ~38 liters
20 gallons(bottom shelf tanks) = ~75 liters
Yes! When I re-do the rack I will have six 10g/38L, seven 20g/75L, and one 40g/180L

Hello Frank! It took me one night to do most of it, then one afternoon to move the tanks that still had inhabitants :) A few days of spray painting and letting coats dry, and now I'm waiting on supplies to drill my tanks and do plumbing

@@SimplyBetta yes!! I have 5 breeds of rabbit snails, magenta and ivory mystery snails, two types or nerites. So far… 😅. So I’m doing the rack frame in black for now & doing the shelves in alternating minty green i found in the oops pain bin & a purple called wood violet. 😊

It has its pros and cons. If you linebreed/inbreed than you might have a change of keeping good traits but also getting bad traits too. For me I won’t do a lot of linebreeding/inbreeding. Make sure to introduce new blood to the ones you have

Hi! NJ moonfrost is right, too much fish inbreeding is bad, but it is impossible to control genetic traits without it.
Please do a search for "guppy line breeding" to see how some people line breed to control traits, but in a controlled way to prevent detrimental inbreeding
