Awesome video, if I were to use my GoPro hero9 for my sons baseball games what would you suggest I put the camera at? The GoPro will be mounted in a tripod behind home plate, my sons plays SS. I use my phone for when he is at bat but don’t have the patience to record 100 possible clips to her one play. That’s why I went to the GoPro and the editing I can do through the app. Thanks again.
Hey Peter, thanks for the question! Mounting the GoPro on the play during a game will definitely be tricky. Having it mounted near the homeplate is a great alternative. My recommendation - 1. Turn on Hindsight on your HERO9 2. Set Hindsight to 30sec 3. Use the GoPro app to remotely control & trigger the GoPro 4. Wait for the "action" to happen, then trigger the GoPro That way, you do not have to capture long continuous videos of 'mundane' moments. Instead Hindsight would have already captured up to 30sec leading up to the 'action'! You can find out more about Hindsight as i elaborated in this video here ruclips.net/video/D0QB9m0e8Ro/видео.html Let me know if that helps! Tag me in your clips! love to see you get the shot!
Very nice videos. I watched the last two you have produced: Max Lens and Gopro 9 and I loved them both and learned a lot this new Gopro 9 I have just bought. I am wondering if I would be able to record selfie videos with an invisible pole wich is attached to my backpack? Thank you very much.
Hey Georges! Thank for checking the videos out!! I actually created an earlier video on Instagram on how to create that "invisible selfie stick" - instagram.com/tv/B83th5_FBHZ/?hl=en In summary- you'll require a 360 camera like the GoProMAX to achieve the 'invisible selfie stick' effect! Hope it helps!
@@AdventuresofRon Thank yoy very much Ron, I cheked your other video and I understood that I cannot do Invisible pole if I am with Gopro9 but I need a 360 Max to be able to it. Please Why am I unable to transfer files to Quik or Adobe Premiere elements 14 to Edit the video I recorded with my Gopro9? It was very frustrating to know that I am unable to edit my kiteboarding session. Thank you very much for your help. Georges
@@georgeskassir6117 Hey George, well there might be several reasons why you're not able to transfer those files. I'd recommend trying to offload those content via an SD Card reader. At the same time, check on the following; 1. How are you currently transferring your files? 2. Your is your computer hardware system 3. What settings were you shooing on
@@AdventuresofRon Hi Ron, Thanks for your answer but unfortunately I have not asked the right question. First I am able to transfer the files from my Gopro9 to my ACER PC and open and Play or visualise them with Windows Media Player or Films and TV. But my problem is: I am unable to Edit all files format coming from Gopro9. I tested and filmed with 2 different format: first: 4k cinematic linear with horizon level+ hiper smooth high, and filmed others as a standard format: 1030/60 linear with or without horizon leveling + hypersmooth and tested without horizon level. None of them were able to be read or edit with ADOBE PREMIERE ELEMENTS 14 or with Gopro Quik. I hope I am more clear with my question this time. I am talking about the EDIT softwear. Thank you very much for your help. In the past I filmed with Gopro5 Black and I have never gort any problem Editing with Adobe or Quik. Here is my last video ruclips.net/video/4m6NtfNvblI/видео.html&feature=share&fbclid=IwAR2nl0gGEj76hc3UxrHh3hoGNU4u_tjQk6ZXFl2mM-Pm2BT6ary29e-rVkM
Thank you very much Ron, I solved the problem. I understood that my Adobe Premiere 14 dated from 2015 cannot take Gopro9 files.mp4 so updated to Adobe Premiere 2020 and I am able now to edit Gopro9 videos I filmed Hyperthmooth + Horizonlevel 4k or any other format. Thanks
Great video! Hoping the max lens mod is something fun I can use for mountain biking. My gimbal really keeps the horizon level for POV so maybe the max lens will allow me to ditch it....except I shoot 4k at 24fps which I don’t think the lens will accommodate?
Thanks dude! it'll be great for sure! you dont have to carry a bulkly gimbal around anymore for MTB + You'll have 360 horizon lock which i dont think the gimbal can do. & yes the downside is the highest resolution you'll get is 2.7k

Ron, As I understand the lens mod increases the field of view for Ultra-Wide and Wide, but what about Linear field of view. I never liked the GoPro Wide or Ultra-Wide... I only shoot in Linear. Did you test the Linear of the mod vs the standard Linear? Thanks
Hey man, thanks for swinging by! Unfortunately with the max lens mod, the lens available are the Max Super View + Wide lens. If you only use the linear lens- You’ll be better off using it without the max lens mod.
Awesome. Thanks, Ron! I'm not understanding the weird pricing on the 9? $349.99 with a subscription and $449 without? Makes no sense? Plus I take it you can not order multiple cameras for the $349 price? I run 5 GoPros on my float tube and or kayak
it deserves more views, nice vid
yooooo- thank you for the kind words buddy! looking forward to put forward better content!
U made me to subscribe when i watched ur go pro 9 info video and u have the go pro 9 and in india we are waitg for go pro 9 shiity place its anways lv ur work
Thank you for those kind words. really appreciate it. looking forward to bring you all better content!
What kind of sunglasses are you wearing?
this pair's from Blender's Eyewear! Love them!
So it has higher resolution and keeps the orientation consistent, but doesn't have a wider field of view it seems.
thanks for checking the vid out! well, if you look at the side-by-sides, you will notice the wider field of views. & i believe it's ~20 degrees wider.
My recommendation -
1. Turn on Hindsight on your HERO9
2. Set Hindsight to 30sec
3. Use the GoPro app to remotely control & trigger the GoPro
4. Wait for the "action" to happen, then trigger the GoPro
That way, you do not have to capture long continuous videos of 'mundane' moments. Instead Hindsight would have already captured up to 30sec leading up to the 'action'!
You can find out more about Hindsight as i elaborated in this video here

Let me know if that helps! Tag me in your clips! love to see you get the shot!
@@AdventuresofRon Thank you
Very nice videos.
I actually created an earlier video on Instagram on how to create that "invisible selfie stick" - instagram.com/tv/B83th5_FBHZ/?hl=en
In summary- you'll require a 360 camera like the GoProMAX to achieve the 'invisible selfie stick' effect!
Georges
@@georgeskassir6117 Hey George, well there might be several reasons why you're not able to transfer those files. I'd recommend trying to offload those content via an SD Card reader. At the same time, check on the following;
1. How are you currently transferring your files?
2. Your is your computer hardware system
Thanks
For my Hero 10, I have to gently pull and twist counter clockwise to remove it. (not just twist)
Yeah, might require a slight tug. The first time’s always a little tight
how did you get the Max lens so quick?!
Very interesting info, thanks you Ron🤘
you're very much welcome!!
@@AdventuresofRon Do you think the possibility of achieving a higher resolution could be something they unlick in the future or is there something specific holding that back? I guess anything is possible these days! haha
@@Dbosheks well, you're right! anything thing is possible these days!!! the future looks amazing!
Loving these series Ron (and your little laugh! 😂) I need to get my hands on one 🇬🇧 📷
Hahah!! Thanks bro! Glad you’re enjoying these series! 😁
