    It’s a good wrap iv had mine for 2 years only thing is that you have to wash it more specially satin and matte colors are magnets to dirt, and dirt is what messes up you’re vinyl

    I would recommend ceramic coating you wrap if you are keeping it outside just to try and help The longevity of the wrap.

    😲 I just got my Challenger wrapped in glossy black. And afterwards i ceramic coat the wrap. Its good idea to use detail spray once week to maintain the look.

    The good thing is they sell in 75ft rolls so there's more than enough to re do the damaged panels. I'm going to try it on my next wrap

      True. I do plan on using Cheetah wrap again. Just the longevity compared to Avery was shorter than expected.

    Would love to see a video of the removal process when you're ready to replace. Thanks for the video.

    Wow I’ve had my car wrapped in satin grey aluminum for 2 years and it’s been fine

    You need to get a little tent or over head cover that sun will kill that wrap and paint over time looks good af

    • @tobarhemi
      @tobarhemi  3 года назад

      Yes that is true. I have a carport and it covered most of the time but having it fully covered will make the wrap last longer. The Charger trunk design unfortunately traps dirt and thats one of the major reasons that part of the wrap started to go bad first (rest of the car looks good). This brand of wrap compared to other didn't last as long. I had my Avery wrap almost 4 years before I started seeing sun damage. I like Cheetah wrap just wish it would've lasted a little longer.

    I have the same issue happening with vvivid ultra gloss vinyl on my mustang. Only lasted 2 months and the hood and trunk look like crap 😭

      I have used other brands such as Avery and 3M and this one definitely is not as durable.

      Glad to hear that, getting my car wrapped soon and I recommended vvivid and my wrap guy said absolutely not will he wrap my car with vvivid lol. At first I was like oh cmon dude... in my head, but then I did more research.

      @@BigHemiNJ Yeah there are a lot of installers that dont recommend vvivid wrap but there are some that do work with it.

    Thanks for the video, Im actually getting my car wrapped on Monday in Gloss Passion Purple by Cheetah Wrap. The guy originally recommended a purple shade by 3M but his distributor didn't have it in stock so he recommended the next best substitute. By watching your video, I really hope It lasts awhile. I'm not really familiar with wraps and the different companies but I see the brand 3M everywhere so when he mentioned Cheetah Wrap I was like ummmmm ok... Yours have held up pretty good and I'm hoping mine does the same.

      Hope it goes well! Again I love the color and the wrap has held up everywhere but the trunk. I think that is mainly due to the car design and having dirt sit there for long periods of time

    You haft to use satin n matte wash n sealant products only..... no wax products it will damage the finish

    • @tobarhemi
      @tobarhemi  3 года назад

      Yup that’s what I do but wraps aren’t meant to last forever. Sun damage will eventually happen

      I own a shop. We just one stepped polished a car wrapped in cheetah for 2 years. It pulled a lot of the staining out and the color profile improved. Judging by your plastics you live in a area with a lot of sunny days. The more you wash and keep out of sun the better.
