The Valkyries or Walkures are female warriors from Norse mythology.
They are able to fly (In some legends they can just fly like that, and other legends they ride pegasuses, although it is highly unlikely that is how the Vikings saw Valkyries as Pegasus is a flying horse from Greek mythology) and have a Swan Cloak (A cloak that can hide themselves and one other person and can turn the owner into a swan)
Their primary weapon is a Light Spear. They choose the faith of those who died after doing a heroic deed, and can choose these heroes to bring them to the Walhalla, where these slain heroes become Einherji, Norse warriors and become immortal unless slain again outside of the Walhalla. Inside the Walhalla, they will just revive a few hours after they were killed.
Now, remember what i said is how Valkyries are described in Norse mythology. Valkyries from the MCU are most likely a bit different.

Valkyries are the helpers of Odin. They bring the souls of people who died in combat to Valhalla, a place where they become Odin's soldiers for the final battle, Ragnarok. Valkyries are immortal so long as they don't die from physical damage or when they resign from being a Valkyrie. All Valkyries are female and are usually found riding pegasi, although from what I know they are fully capable of flying on their own and can carry an additional person with them.
