The sorting system works in JAVA and Bedrock. To make the item elevator work in Bedrock you'll need to change 1 block. At the base of the item elevator dig out one more block and place the soul sand one block deeper than I showed in the video so the dispenser shoots the items into a water block above the soul sand. Yes, you only need to change one block of the item elevator. Just move the soul sand block one block down, so the dispenser shoots into water. That's all =)
