Pretty cool upper. Unfortunately, I already have an 11.5, so it wouldn’t make sense for me to double down at this point. I would, however, be very interested in a similar build with a 10.3” barrel.
@@FocusTripp any willingness to try an expo 11.5? It's fbi profile, 4150 chrome lined, and .70 on the port. I'd lend an upper if you don't want to order one
just ordered my jaeger from you. Can't wait to get it!!!!! I do believe the rail is different than BCM on your website. Curious if you tested this suppressed? i have 2 yhm cans, more than likely i will get another yhm for this upper. Thanks!
My problem with BCM handguard is that the anti-rotation tabs aren't friction fit and has gaps so effectively they are merely rotation limiter. Unless I shim it with cut out of soda can bent to envelop both side of upper to make it press fit.
Try putting the upper without the rail in a freezer for a couple hours before installing the rail onto the barrel nut. It'll almost slide right on with very little force if any.
In the future, you can use a hair dryer or a small gas-bottle torch to heat up the rail to slide it over the barrel nut. It's waaaay easier than hammering it on or trying to snatch it off. Ask me how I know. What a flat shooter though! That camera angle through the Sig Romeo was insanely flat! Keep up the great work! Also, I don't know about anyone else, but Hornady Superformance doesn't really group as well as they imply in advertising from any rifle I've shot, especially for the cost.
@@FocusTripp I’ve heard heat guns or throwing the rail in the oven works also,i just always use a torch. I was told not to hit it with a hammer cause if it isn’t straight or some shit it could gouge the hand guard … idk i usually have to tap it with a rubber mallet a few times anyway.
It’s probably due to Internet bias, but I have only heard bad things about guissele barrels as far as accuracy goes. Nice to see a knowledgeable person in the field opting to use them. I love their triggers but all of their other parts are too rich for me right now, especially with the mixed reviews I have seen.
