There is some debate over the right venue to voice political messages and beliefs, but one of the best possible venues are local protests. Many are car bound or socially distanced and are opportunities both to learn and be heard. Most major metropolitan areas have searchable protest calendars, and local BLM chapters often post events. If you’ve been on the fence, let this be a push to get out there and not do nothing.
Any moments I missed? Feel free to post them here. Is it Thursday yet?
Thank you, as always, for the Timestamps!

@@tjet34 Is she immune to drowning?
@@MrKrory no but that was while she was in the air. Also, that water was breathable, there was a whole discussion about it. Then they took a deep breath of the water before leaving it to enter the toxic air again.
I think the saddest part about this social distancing setup is that Sam and Laura can't secretly conspire together anymore and come up with brilliant ideas such as "FLUFFERNUTTER!!". Killed my whole family.
I mean, they could still text.
I'm like 40 episodes past that gag at the end and it always gets me the way it did when Yasha first said it. Killed my whole family.
Preach, man. Killed my entire whole family…
Threw me under a bridge!
However, it did also prevent Marisha from getting spoiled on the dramatic reveal of Veridian's identity. So glad she was too invested to check her phone for Liam's text.

Hear me out guys, I like the fact that Caduceus isn’t doing the best on this island right now. I like it because when it comes to stuff like nature and things of that sort he’s always just a league ahead of everyone, partly because of who he is and partly because of the wild mother’s influence. So it makes sense now that an island influenced by a false god defiling the land would prove troublesome to Caduceus who is the most genuine article when it comes to nature and stuff.
That's what I love about D&D, when you can incorporate accidental actions (dice falling short) into the story itself :p
Ngawang Bongpa I agree. But even in that setting, where things aren’t balanced for him, Caduceus was insightful enough to consider a Greater Restoration on Viridian. I loved that.
and him casting greater resto is also sooo Cad. I hope after Fjord talked to Cad, and the Commune with the Wildmother, gave him an insight to do just that. :)
Typical cheating player. Doesn't make his stuff with disadvantage when poisoned.
@@cocoonman Did Taliesin cheated? as far as i could remember, he casted lesser resto on himself before facing Vocondo. That's why he asked if they could talk underwater. Unless he got poisoned again or something... :)
Fun fact: Jester mentions mosquitoes being attracted to her all her life, that would actually be extremely likely to happen since bugs see on the blue light spectrum. So things that are blue, blue flowers, blue light, blue skin, would attract bugs more often.
Evan Treffinger the more you know
Moths and gnats would love her
She also eats a lot of sugary things which makes her blood sweeter.
Wow just one of the weirdly awesome and thought out things about this show.
Well, it's that and how they detect Carbon Dioxide. That's why sometimes you can see mosquitos hovering around your car hood, they're attracted to the Carbon Dioxide because they think it's some creature exhaling.
!!SPOILERS!!
is anyone else deeply horrified at the moment of Viridian’s realisation? Like, imagine realising you’d spent the last 25 YEARS being almost hypnotised and manipulated, forgetting your daughter, your history - to know that you had lost all your independent will to this abomination. I would feel so guilty, that is such a long time. I hope the Nein take good care of her.
@@kyeo77 Of course, accidentally skipping half your daughter's childhood is going to mess you up no matter how long you live.
@@kyeo77 Druids are not a race, what are you talking about lol
@@AdrianVM19 Archdruids (lvl20) age much slower than others; in 10 years they age one year. So yes, druids, at least the most powerful, live a lot longer than humans, and also most others, regardless of race. Only thing, Vilya was not an archdruid. She was, however, a half-elf, who can live about twice as long as humans to begin with.
@@Mirandur Is this in some part of the rules other than the druid class section? Because I see nothing in the Archdruid feature mention anything about aging :/
Edit: just saw, it's a 18th level feature called Timeless Body. You're right. I was just taking a riff at druids being a class, not a race :P
@@kyeo77 practically no Druids achieve Timeless Body. There aren’t typically a lot of 18th+ level characters of *any* class in most campaigns because it would rather cheapen the accomplishment.

Something I remembered: Caleb's amulet was hiding not only himself but also the Cloven Cristal, the last key for Ukatoa that he is carrying with his amber magic. The followers were able to locate it in Fjord's chest before when they were at sea, and now they are in an island in the middle of the ocean, Fjord has no sword and Caleb is not unsearchable. This could turn out to be a three way "almost gods" situation in the end hahaha
Isn't the Cloven Crystal in a demiplane or something like that? If I remember well, Vault of Amber is kind of a version of Secret Chest (that stores stuff in the Ethereal Plane). Or maybe I was assuming something. The spell itself only says it guards it in the gems, in stasis.
Well, fjord can just summon his sword to himself, which is likely why he gave it up in the first place:give Mr.Crabs the fancy magic tribute,GTFO, and summon it back. THANK YOU! I thought about this all night, and was SO PERTURBED
Edit, because I have fat thumbs that hit send faster than my brain can say stop: the only thing I keep thinking about with that, is that realistically, even if the air you breathe won’t ACTUALLY hurt you, it could be uncomfortable, so it could make sense that way to say “yes, I’m immune, but it still burns a bit”
i belive it was toxic im not for sure if that still counts but i think it was more like an acidic thing not a posin thing i could be completly wrong tho but just a idk hunch
@@theodorehazel6920 The air gave you the poisoned condition. Beau is immune to that condition.
@@theodorehazel6920when Caduses failed he was poisoned which is a condition she is immune to. However, Beau didn’t know what the air would do, so of course she’d hold her breath with the rest. If they’d been told “the air is poisonous” or “the air will poison you” maybe she wouldn’t have bothered.
Beau's immunity to poison came up a couple of times already in this story arc, so I doubt Marisha just forgot. Likely just wasn't taking any chances. Also the initial description made it sound more like acid than poison, as well as just a very unpleasant experience even if immune

They weren't there to fight him in the first place, just to ask for permission to host TravelerCon, but Vokodo got greedy and asked for MORE presents. THAT is when the party got pissed. And yet, they still chose to not give in and fight when they were a) deep in his lair, b) still spent from the earlier fight with expended spell slots, and c) still having Viridian along as a factor. When they eventually fight him, though, they'll be ready... and with one more ally on their side.
