The unknown party definitely looked like mackerel to me. Love that fish, and it’s popular in Japan. Also, I personally prefer Japanese pumpkin in my tempura to sweet potato. I find it holds its texture better and has a more neutral flavor, which I think goes better with the ponzu or other sauce it’s often served with, which often is a little sweet itself
Thank you for using the music from my favourite Zelda game, the first time through the video I ended up not paying attention and my mind drifted back to little me hunched under my bedside lamp with my oldstyle Gameboy (yes, I am getting old, true middle age is only a couple of years away, please help) and being completely wrapped up the adventure unfolding Infront of me. So thank you for that little slice of childhood innocence, I am going through a lot right now and that brief moment was precious to me. All the best to you dude, you have given me so many places and types of food that I want to try and for that I am very grateful.

Congrats for going out of your comfort zone yay 🎉 You know you have an undeveloped palette and are not used to eating vegetables when you say pumpkin tastes like sweet potato. That's like saying shrimp tastes like chicken.

$6?! In the US that'd be at least $15
Tbh I was even thinking $25 (live in LA)
I'd guess $25 too and I'm in Ohio. Food prices are wild for a less bougie place.
Live in NYC/MIAMI
Would be 25-20 respectively
Due to inflation. Yen is worth massively less than usd. Same thing in India with cheap food.
Nah this is at least 25-30 in the US

So he ended up in this bowl? Well, it is the nature of dreams to end.
Could you please tell me where the music's from? Istg I heard it before but can't remember for the life of me. I think it's from Zelda
@banane2279 it is from Link's Awakening. The music that plays just as Link awakens for the first time, right at the beginning of the game
It's a remix of sword search from Link's Awakening
Qumu’s remix of Link’s Awakening

Mackerel in tomato sauce goes hard, especially on top of bread with some capers and parsely. Very tasty fish :)
I also thought it looked like mackerel
I thought it was mackarel (specifically Pacific Saury) at first but on closer inspection I think it's smelt
I love mackerel, smoked mackerel with poached eggs on some really good toasted bread is such a good breakfast.
@@chairofthebored that would make sense. Looking at it again, it’s pretty small for a mackerel

Nice one haha

He's gone medieval with the tomato hate
It took me so long to like tomatoes. I get it
