I think the most frustrating bit about this is that, the game has the capability to recolour these bits, but they didn't give it as a direct option.
@stopstaringatmewtf7651 I think a possible reason is that colouring those pieces may have been an intended feature of the game, hence the ability to recolour them, but they ran out of time developing them, so they decided to abandon them. But if it still remains in the source code, it could still be accessed, and as a result the glitch can trigger it.
Wow this feels kinda weird lol. Takes me back to November 2018 when you were making daily uploads of this game. Ahh, the good ol' days

I tried the I tried the glitch I was pressing triangle and square and it didn’t work
@@YellowLanternBatman try doing the input twice in a row. That’s what worked for me
You just made the possibilities basically endless
Unrelated to the video but I don’t understand why they didn’t just make the belts the same as the body decals, those body pieces almost never get used because you lose so much detail

Does this also work in Lego Marvel Superheroes 2? It 'd be so useful to recolour Enchantress's headpiece to make an accurate Wanda
I don't know, but i will try it and tell you what happens(for this to work the customizer of the lego game has to have an "undo" button, and i don't think lmsh2 has it)
EDIT: i tried but lmsh2 customizer doesn't have the undo button, so you can't (would've been cool tho)
I tried this glitch and it worked! But the I’m having is the colors on the preset torso doesn’t look like it’s matching the colors I choose the fisherman torso and the colors aren’t matching on the overalls. Like I choose blue but it turns out to be dark green. Is there a fix for this?

then dont read, this has spoilers to that movie.
if you to make 838 Wanda in LEGO DC then follow this guide
1: chose Grail head and change the colour to Wanda's skin tone.
2: chose the "curly long" hair option and colour it dark brown.
3: chose "body 03" and colour it a light grey.
4: colour the arms the same as the torso.
5: go to "legs" and click boots and select "colour 1" to be "dark blue" and "colour 2 to be her skin tone".
6: dark blue for the hips.
Magic side of 838 Wanda (optional, you can make you own set but this is what i did):
1: go to effects and pick "hand glow" and colour dark red for both hand effects.
2: jump slam effects, style 4 and colour dark red.
3: hit impact, style 1 and colour dark red.
Abilities:
flight
bolt style 04 with colour dark red with targeting.
force field style 01 with colour dark red.
beam style 04 with colour dark red.
skills:
technology
acrobat
mind control (colour dark red)
telekinesis (colour dark red)
smash walls
beam deflect
x-ray style 02
goon command
tracking (colour dark red)
illumination
stealth

I have a question. Is it possible to change the color of preset heads? I've been trying to make a many custom and I'm trying to use kid flash's head. I can change the yellow part to be purple, but how do I change the face part?

I haven’t tried that, but I doubt it as this game’s customiser is very different and a lot more in-depth.

Hey, i really want to get this game, i'm thinking of it, just one question.. Does it have the tutorial of the controls?
Highly recommend it and it’s very easy to pick up and play! The controls are not complicated at all and the game explains everything along the way.

I think it’s weird that this isn’t already a thing like, it’s a customizer so why can’t you change the color of preset pieces? Idk I’m not a game maker

Unfortunately not. However, it does work with custom accessories like you’ll see with Wonder Woman’s tiara in the video, giving you more combinations with custom heads.

1. Is this a specific update of the game or is it latest?
2. Do I press square and triangle at the same time or one after the other?

I keep trying. Even on different pieces but it doesn’t work. Any time I switch to the torsos with the all customizable options it switches over the colors but not the original torso
Like For example, I used it on sinestro but it just made the torso yellow 😢

Not with the preset heads, but it does work with custom accessories, which gives you new combinations with custom heads.

This opens up so much creativity that was lost due to sheer stupidity.
Trust me, once you try it out for yourself you’ll see why it was never officially implemented. Yes, there are now a lot more possibilities, but we’re still limited as the colours don’t always work as intended, so I don’t think anyone is to blame here lol
The glitch doesn't fully work on switch, I got it to alter the tiara but the recolor menu doesn't appear.

I have a glitch where the headpieces (except hair) spawn on the neck; haven't been able to make use of it, anyone got someone?
I've run into that too! It's a weird one and doesn't always work, but I've seen people use the cap to make a duck lol

I thought about that when I discovered it too 😂 but I highly doubt it as the game is like 5 years old now and most of the devs have moved onto other projects and companies.

Funny enough, that was actually the first character I tried making after Wanda when I discovered the glitch. I couldn’t make the classic red & blue look, but Fire Mario turned out really cool lol
