I’ve owned several versions of the A4 (B6, B7, B8, B9) as well as several versions of the BMW Series 3 and I’ve come to the conclusion that the A4 is definitely the perfect car for me. Right?! I originally leased this car, and at the end of my lease I bought it and before I did they tried to get me to upgrade to the new A4 and I said no way, and they were shocked that my reason was I didn't like the missing MMI knob!
Have the exact same car (color, year, trim). Really enjoyed the video. Love the car. Ditto on turbo lag. I was doing research on the car and read on one of the online Audi forums that there is a product (about $100) called OBDEleven that plugs into the car and you can modify certain functions. I got it and was able to turn on high beam assist and active lane keeping assist. Also turned on this feature that will shutoff the headlamps when the parking brake is on (when parked, I don’t need the light). Premium + trim has the hardware for these functions. The high beam assist works great (turns off when it detects lights so it won’t blind other drivers) and active lane keeping assist is a pretty cool tech that will keep the car in lane (people can generally keep cars in lanes, but could make the driving safer in an unfortunate case of drowsiness or being distracted). Big question is whether modifying certain features will void your warranty and haven’t yet found a clear answer on that, so proceed with caution if anyone is thinking about doing it.
Oh yeah, I've heard about that! My younger brother had a GTI Rabbit edition and he wanted to mod it to activate additional features, but then he ended up selling it before he did it. I have an extended warranty but yeah, I'm not sure if it would void it or not. But it would be nice to have those extra features since the hardware is already there.
You cant go wrong with this car. I would recommend get the 190 hp 2.0 with Quattro, lots of fun. You can feel by driving longer this car, how much brain it flys into it. Almost everything makes sence, is easy to use und the software is really intutive and good developted.👌👌👍👍 Not like other brands etc.

Thanks so much! First, it's a great car, I really can't recommend it enough. It drives smooth, it has pickup when you need it, it's comfortable, it's quiet - all the things you can ask for in a car. So far, maintenance is what you would expect from a German car, not outrageous but still probably more expensive than an American or Japanese car. I think I spend like $130 max at every annual service. Zero issues with the tech thus far, everything works perfectly still. The only trouble I've had is my sunroof leaked and I had to have the liner replaced, but I didn't have to pay for it so no big deal and they gave me an A6 to drive around while they repaired it so that was pretty nice 😊 .

I got the technology package which came with the virtual cockpit, bigger center console screen and CarPlay. And I got the cold weather package for the heated seats in front and rear, and the heated steering wheel. At the time the ambient lighting came standard with the car. Not sure about the later models.

It's pretty smooth, it deals with them better than most cars I would say. But obviously, if you have really bad roads it can be bumpy no matter what. But over just relatively bumpy roads it still rides pretty smooth.
The only issue I had was the sunroof leaking, and I had to have the headliner replaced (free of charge of course). I've put a little over 33K miles on it since I purchased it in May of 2017. Mechanically it's been great.

To get the oil change and the annual check up do you have to go to an Audi dealer? Or can you just do it yourself/ go to cheaper mechanic
You can definitely take it to a cheaper mechanic. I’ve never done it myself but I’m sure it’s possible.
