Yes because they are not acually faster then the best amd cpu's they are overclocked by default because of a bad bios setting. So they just gave up after 3 month or so because Well they are overclocked

The microcode update is a band-aid fix. They may have simmered the stability issues down, but what about the temperatures? A full recall should occur. I too, have a 14900K. Next build will be AMD and their 7nm chips. Fuck Intel.

Not worth it, the 14900k has 0.2ghz lower clock and doesn't overhear and costs 300 dollars less. But the 7800x3d has better gaming performance than both of those, being half the cost.
actually the 14900ks trade blows with the 7800x3d if you look at benchmarks, but the 14900ks has much better productivity performace, making it pretty much the best desktop cpu out there currently.

Intel has released a bios update to fix the stability issues, my 149000k is working just fine.
