  • At present 02/01/2016, I use a different much easier method to keep my distiller clean. Bellow is the link to that updated video:
    UPDATE 2020 VIDEO
    • LONDON TAP WATER
    I would recommend the cleaning method shown in the above video only if you clean your distiller once a week or at longer intervals.
    I`m no longer using any water to clean my distiller, only straight vinegar.
    I only need to leave it around One Hour to soak and all the build up of scale is completely dissolved.
    I`m applying the undiluted vinegar differently to the method demonstrated in this video:
    After each distillation cycle has ended I pour about Three Millimetres depth of straight vinegar in to the boiling chamber. After that I PUT THE TOP OF THE DISTILLER BACK ON. That way the vapours of the vinegar that evaporate at room temperature will be contained inside the boiling chamber and will dissolve the scale build up on the side walls of the boiling chamber.
    After one hour of soaking all it needs is a gentle scrub with a bit of steel wool and its back to being nice and shiny.
    I`ll make an update video soon.

    When I distill I put in a tablespoon of citric acid and leave it there, I can do three gallons and then just dump it out when I am done at the end of the day. The citric acid will not hurt you or the machine since they use it in cooking and other food items. Also run the distiller on a timer so it doesn't shut off by itself or you will burn the bottom of the pot out.

    Thanks for the video, note no need to put weight on top of the jar, just add water to the jar.

      It’s a waste of water and you have to use more vinegar.

    • @ToxicVaccines_HivHoax
      @ToxicVaccines_HivHoax  5 лет назад +1

      @@manit77 - You can also use straight vinegar with no water added for faster results for a heavily soiled boiling chamber.
      However if you clean your distiller after each use, a 50% water and vinegar mixture is more than enough strength.

    If you clean it every day it should be easy to clean. You clean your dishes everyday. Why not your water distiller???

    Great idea with the glass and weight. I put a frying pan on top of mine to keep the steam in to clean it a little bit on sides.

    • @ToxicVaccines_HivHoax
      @ToxicVaccines_HivHoax  5 лет назад

      Steam?? Do you plug it in to the power?
      I do not plug my distiller on to the power while the vinegar is dissolving the buildup of scale.

    I like the addition of the glass container to push the cleaning solution up. Saves a lot of liquid - most efficiently! I also like that you didn't use any electricity to clean it. Many people turn it on to heat it up. Thanks.

    Hey mate, thanks for sharing, where can i buy Megahome distiller in Australia?? as i'm from Melbourne. thanks

    • @ToxicVaccines_HivHoax
      @ToxicVaccines_HivHoax  5 лет назад +1

      +guyline1 - I bought mine from jdharris.com
      www.jdharris.com/water-distiller
      They are based in the UK. The good thing about that is that the UK uses same voltage as here in Australia 240v. All you will need extra is a cheap plug adapter. Do not buy a distiller that uses a different voltage, eg the north american distillers using 110v, in which case u`ll need a power transformer which is a potential fire hazard.
      I would highly recommend jdharris. I have found them to be reliable with very good after sale customer service. I have also bought other distiller accessories from them such as carbon filter sachets and an extra glass jug with no problems.

      I agre!!
      Especially the glass jug is the best of them all.
      I bought myself another distiller from "Make Water Pure" with a glass jug.
      However the glass jug has got a rubber sealer at the top, between the jug and it's metal lid. Not good.
      The "MWP" distiller is about one hour faster than the Megahome.
      (They also have a latest model with 6 litres capacity.)
      Luckily the Megahome glass jug fits the "4 litre" "Make Water Pure" distiller perfectly.
      Even the electric cable matches.
      So now I am using a "MWP" distiller with a Megahome glass jug, and a Megahome power cable. 👍👍

    That distiller is clean as whistle already. Try with some dirty unit...

    • @ToxicVaccines_HivHoax
      @ToxicVaccines_HivHoax  4 года назад

      I use my distiller once a day, and clean my distiller after each use.
      So my distiller never gets too much dirt and scale on it.
      If you have a very dirty distiller you will have to repeat this process a few times using straight undiluted vinegar.
      Eventually your distiller will become clean as a whistle too.
      It depends on how thick the scale buildup is.
      Each time you soak the distiller in vinegar for 2 hours minimum, the vinegar will dissolve approximately 1 millimetre thickness of scale buildup.
      If the thickness of the scale buildup is 5 millimeters, repeat this process 5 times gently scrubbing the surface with some steel wool before and after the vinegar soaking.
      All you need to do is repeat this process after each use. 👍👍

    What I meant was put water in the glass jar as a weight, no need to put any weight on the glass jar.

    • @milanpuncer2919
      @milanpuncer2919 6 лет назад +1

      i tried that & it seems to need the same actual height-level of water inside my Megahome equivalent plastic beaker 4L container as the level achieved outside of it, & despite that there is far more water inside that inner vessel than is outside. You/i'll need something of substantially higher mass than water as a weight, e.g. something of enough iron/steel content, or stone/rock, i'm sure Archimedes could explain this effect. I predict that using water as a weight on/in the Megahome glass jar will have only a slight level difference as i did with the plastic container, both types have a mass too close to the mass of water, so iron/steel content or a rock is far easier & practical to use as a weight for the inner vessel

    You can also use straight vinegar with no added water for faster results, especially in a heavily soiled boiling chamber.
    However, if descaling your distiller after each use, around two hours soaking time in a 50% water/ vinegar mixture is more than enough strength.

      You are welcome. I have been experimenting more with using vinegar to clean/descale my distiller and have found out that even one hour of soaking in the vinegar water disolves completely about one week of scale buildup. Especially if u use a mixture of 50% water and 50% vinegar.

      Few more tips for you:
      1- I fill my distiller with hot water if possible. This has two advantages: a- It gets the chlorine out of the water so you are already cleaning the water of harmful chemical before the distillation process has even started, and b- it makes the work of the distiller of bringing the water to boiling temperature a bit easier.
      2- Add a pinch of Himalayan salt at the bottom of the water jug of the distiller before the distillation process. This way the distilled water can dilute and absorb the beneficial salts and minerals contained in the Himalayan salt. This way you will have pure water with the best salts and minerals dissolved in it.

    it is not the pot that is a big problem, it is the condenser coil that needs to be cleaned also.

      For faster results you can use vinegar only, with no water added.
