Did you have to renounce your US citizenship after obtaining Spanish citizenship? That is the reason why I am considering the move to Portugal rather than Spain because I need to keep my US citizenship while working towards citizenship in another.
If I go the student route to get my masters are there FAFSA or any special educational international loans to look into. Can I get a loan in the EU? Or would I need to save up like you did?
I also wanted to ask you Cepee, when you applied for Spanish citizenship as a Colombian, did you have to turn in a Colombian background check even though you never have lived there? @@SheHitRefresh
wow thank you for being so transparent with your process! life really is a sum of a ups and downs and your resilience riding the waves of life is beautiful!!!! your dedication to make it work got you the result. you are beyond inspiring
I'm so envious! I am glad things worked out for you so well! I visited Madrid 2 years ago, and I too, fell in love with! I have been obsessed about permanently moving there ever since. While my job in the States is remote, it is only remote within the States. Not internationally. My native language is Spanish, so I don't see things working out for me as an English teacher in Spain. You seem to have quite a few certifications and also a college degree under your belt, and I don't have that. I do own my own house here in the States, though, but I am not sure if the income I could make by renting my house is acceptable income for me to be able to move to Spain. I think you have mentioned before that one has to be able to prove one can sustain oneself when living in Spain, so again, I am not sure if the income from renting out my house here in the States is something that they would approve 🫤
Thank you so much for taking the time to watch my video. Lots of trial and error in my journey but luckily in the end I got to where I wanted to go. :)
I really needed this. It just gave me inspiration. This is ALL that I want and I’ve wanted to move since middle school. I’ve traveled a lot and did short study abroad but to afford to move without studies is incredibly challenging financially. Almost done with my bachelors by December but with no job and no savings. I’m just so stuck and afraid but as always, I keep pushing through. Financial freedom, generational wealth and investments are on my vision board
I apologized if missed it in this video, but how were you able to find these jobs and where? Been wanting to live and go to spain for about 2 years now.
I am 45 and want to move my family to Malaga but I am not sure how to do it because I don’t have a remote job. Don’t want to do the student visa. The non lucrative visa is going to be a little tight so I’m not sure what to do? Any advice?
So sorry to hear about the loss of your parents. I am about your age. Lost both grandparents and my mother between 2012-2017. I feel your pain. I feel like I need to try teaching in Spain because it’s now or never. Life is short. I’m completely bored living in the USA.
Thank you for sharing your story! I am debating whether I should being a teaching assistant in Spain. Or apply for the Erasmus Mundas scholarship and get another Masters degree (that I don't necessarily need). However it would get me into Europe with a comfortable stipend to live on. Plus, I want to switch careers so perhaps that could work. Either way, everyone's story is uniquely their own. How have you found dating in Spain over 35 years old?
Excellent video. I am a retired English teacher (EdD) in Ukraine now. However, we are now looking at moving to different countries that offer non-lucrative Visas. We might sell our home in Portland, Oregon. What American-friendly countries would you recommend?
How how are you. I watched your video you made a year ago about the 4 easiest European countries to move to. I was born in California my mother is American and my father is from Panamá. I have Panamanian citizenship so I got two passports. In 2years if I want to apply for Spanish citizenship would I have renounce any of my citizenship because I’ve heard Spain doesn’t allow dual citizenship.
Good 😊 choice and right move. European countries is safer and better than United States 🇺🇸. Even I’m a American 🇺🇸 citizen I’m moving to Australia 🇦🇺. I love ❤️ Australia 🇦🇺
My wife was an asian and then she become a spanish citizen. But our marreige certificate still for the old asian name and we married in asia. So my question is. Is she will be able to take me to spain after she become a spanish citizen? By showing asian marriage certificate ?
Looking for a country that is politically stable with good health care, where I can find a job in urban planning/urban design. Any thoughts from your travels? 40-year-old geographer and Texas native here 😊! Trying to find a better upbringing for my young son 💙
white straight male conservative here and just wanna say thank you so much for making this possible for women that don't wanna be her to leave. but I say you are a racist for not letting beta men leave. please start paying for all who wanna leave it would be a blessing to all of the true Americans that wanna stay and work it out and make it better. it's crazy you move and help others move for abortions and so you won't here people say maggot because you will get tickets. you lady are insane for being so emotionally unstable you had to flee. this is why a woman will never be president
What questions do you have about moving to Spain?

As a 37 year old mom of 3, we are looking to do the same thing and having kids in the mix makes it trickier but we will be doing it in 2024🤝🏼
