You look so much like my son when you try a new fruit. He makes the same expressions, he won’t eat fruit. I one bribed him 50,000 rupiah to eat a slice of watermelon. He’s about your age. I dive into a new fruit with great enthusiasm. It’s like a new world. Imagine how excited I was to try durian! We had to start with frozen durian as we living in Singapore. Eventually we found it ready packed within walking distance of our house. I try new fruits in my imagination, through your videos.
I like your comment in the budah' s hand fruit, this reminds me that I had a girlfriend that was attractive and smell like flowers but nothing more. Lol
Do you collect the seeds from all this amazing fruit? If so, do you sell them? If not, can I convince you to take up this sub-hobby of weird fruit seed collection? I'm a bit of a plant nerd and I would (figuratively) kill to get my hands on seeds for some of the fruit you consume.
Cleavage&Crops I looked into bringing seeds into the USA while in Borneo and it was too much of a hassle to do it while I was there. I'll see about doing it for my next trip. I do offer seeds as one of the perks on my patreon page, but it's what I get in the USA and without guarantees of when I'll get things or quantity.
Though while i was in Thailand I couldn't find myself a Gac to try, my fiance's mother had a gac scented shower cream that I enjoy quite alot lol, I just had to hunt down a few bottles to take home for myself!
One of the strangest looking for me is the Akebia. Here is what it looks like in my garden on the plant: photos.app.goo.gl/gWyuqiRezBSVz4n76 There are also varieties with a purple rind. The taste of the pulp around the many seeds reminds me on icecream bean, vanilla and whipped cream. The rind is edible but incredible bitter. You can soak it in water to get rid of the bitterness and cook it, but afterwards there are still better things to eat. The seeds are also bitter if you bite into them so it is better to spit them out. I heard that you can sprout them and eat the sprouts, but I haven't tried that yet.
My immediate reaction was that they look a LOT like the piure type of tunicate. I may be visiting Beijing in March, and as a vegan I figure I'll mostly be eating fruit, but on the very unlikely chance I come across Gac I'll pass it by.
3:42 "Well if you love fruit so much, why don't you mar-"
i LOVE that painting on the wall behind you
number one just looks like the glued a bunch of dinner rolls together

Last time i was this early my girlfriend was very upset
Gac looks and sounds like Klingon cuisine.
its what vegan klingons eat
I was definitely expecting Rambutans and Snake Fruit (Salak) to make this list.
They're not uncommon but they are weird.
baldieman64 is it just me or the inside of a mangosteen look like garlic
I like the painting behind you in beginning and the end of vid
What about the belimbing hutan or chempedak? I would have included those in a list of weird looking fruit you previously reviewed
I considered both of those, but decided they didn't hit the top 10 in my opinion
man i know this is an old video but your videos r getting me through a lot rn man. thank you :)
A friend of mine who tasted African Horned Melon (same as Kiwano Melon?) told me it tasted like cucumber.

I liked the cacao. It tastes like melon lemonade.

thats strange, the fresh fruit doesn't really smell like anything. maybe when its cooked?
perhaps, but that shower cream smelled amazing lol, a popular dish is gac mixed with steamed glutinous rice
Purple dragon fruit is still my idea of heaven.
I have dreams about the angkala now.

Wonder if dragonfruit seeds have omega fatty oils in them like chia seeds have been said to, seeing their other similarities
kiwano is soooo good. its like a lemony, cucumbery taste. its texture isnt appealing, but damn its good!
The great flavour of he cacou is after it has been processed
Was this uploaded again for a reason? Is it different than the previous version?
Same video, It was deleted off youtube for some reason. New episode will be up tomorrow.
I'm surprised you didn't mention the pineapple or the monster fruit
Were those animals moths birds bats and mice?
100gac
Could you do an update on this list?
Gac fruit must be difficult for a vegetarian.
yeah, kind of gross
