Mr. McClure: (talking to Greta) Get in here.
Greta: (talks to her 🧑🏾 father) Daddy, listen 🎧-
Mr. McClure: Now.
(Greta enters in the apartment)
Steve: (talks to Mr. McClure and says goodbye 👋)
Well, I’ll be going now.
(Mr. McClure pulls Steve in and closes the door 🚪)
Steve: Maybe I’ll stay awhile.
Greta: (talks to her 🧑🏾 father)
Now, now I can explain everything.
Mr. McClure: (talking to Greta)
You can start by explaining why you look 👀 like 👍 the Swamp Thing ™️!
Greta: We had a flat tire 🛞, and we had to walk in the rain 🌧️.
Mr. McClure: Well, then why isn’t he wet?
Steve: Gorptex, ✈️ jet-dry.
(Audience laughs)
Mr. McClure: (talking to Greta)
⬆️ Upstairs, young lady.
Mr. Urkel and I are going to have a nice 😊, friendly little chat 💬.
Greta: (talks to her father 🧑🏾)
Daddy, it wasn’t his fault.
Mr. McClure: Go!
(Greta 😔 sighs)
Greta: (apologizes to Steve)
I’m sorry 😣, Stan.
Steve: (talks to Greta) Steve.
Greta: Right.
(Audience laughs;
Greta goes ⬆️ upstairs;
Mr. McClure looks at Steve disgracefully)
Steve: 🙄 Uh, fine young woman 🧍♀️.
❤️ Lovely 🥰 lass.
Kind of a mud magnet, but you know-
Mr. McClure: (talking to Steve)
I don’t 👎like being played for a fool, Urkel!
(Eddie outside in the hallway listening 👂)
Mr. McClure: You will never 👎, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever going to see my daughter 🧒 again!
(Steve sits on a recliner couch 🛋️)
Steve: Ever?
(Audience laughs)
Mr. McClure: Not only that. You’re 🔥 fired!
(Eddie opens the door 🚪 and comes in)
Eddie: (talking to Mr. McClure)
Mr. McClure.
(Mr. McClure turns around and sees Eddie come in)
Mr. McClure: (talking to Eddie)
What are you doing here?!
(Steve runs by to Eddie)
Eddie: Look 👀, Greta was really went out with me tonight.
I asked Steve to front for me so I could keep seeing her behind your back.
Mr. McClure: You what?
Eddie: I promised Steve I’d have her back in plenty of time, but we got a flat tire 🛞 and we had to walk in the rain 🌧️ to a ⛽️ gas station.
Steve: (talks to Mr.McClure)
Yeah 👍.
And that’s why he’s wet, and not me.
Mr. McClure: (talking both Steve and Eddie)
I don’t care 🤷 who did what. You’re both 🔥 fired!
Eddie: What? You can’t do that!
Mr. McClure: Oh, I can, and I did. Good night 💤.
(Mr.McClure pushes Eddie and Steve out of his apartment)
Eddie: But, but, but-
(Steve 🛑 ✋ stops Mr. McClure)
Steve: Now, wait just a minute, Mr. McClure.
(Audience cheering 📣 and applause 👏)
Steve: Eddie didn’t have to come back here and confess.
Why he showed great 👍 strength of character; and what’s his reward? You 🔥 fire him!
Well, let me tell you something, sir.
If that’s the kind of boss you are, I don’t Ever want to work for you again!
(Audience laughter 😆, cheers 🍻 and applause 👏)
Steve: (talking to Eddie) Let’s go, Eddo.
Eddie: You tell him, Steve.
Mr. McClure: (talking to Steve and Eddie)
Hold it, hold it!
Perhaps 🤔, I, 🙄 uh, did overreact the other night.
You may have noticed I get a little crazy 😜 where my daughter’s 😟 concerned.
(Eddie and Steve discuss with Mr. McClure indistinctly; audience 😆 laughed)
Mr. McClure: But the original grounding still stands.
(Talking to Eddie)
Winslow, if you and Greta really like 👍 each other,
you can wait a month.
Eddie: (talks to Mr. McClure)
No problem 😌, sir. Greta’s worth waiting for.
(Greta comes downstairs and sees Eddie)
Greta: (talking to Eddie) And so are you, Eddie.
Eddie: (looks at Greta) 😱 Ahh!
(Greta comes down; Mr. McClure puts his arm on her)
Steve: (talking to Mr. McClure)
😐 Uh, uh, excuse me ☝🏽, sir. Excuse me ☝🏽.
Excuse me ☝🏽. What about our jobs?
(Mr. McClure looks back at Greta)
Mr.McClure: (talks to Steve and Eddie)
You’re rehired.
Steve: (hollers in 🤩 joy) All Right!
(Steve tries to high-five Eddie and accidentally runs down a table with the statue on it; audience laughs and applauds)
Steve: Oh, boy 👦. 2 saves in one 1️⃣ night.
My luck 🍀 must be changing.
Good 👍 night.
Greta and Mr. McClure: Good 👍 night.
(Steve closes the door 🚪; a statue on the table falls and breaks on the floor; Mr. McClure turns around and sees it; Steve opens the door 🚪 and see it for himself)
Steve: (talking to Mr. McClure)
Look 👀 what you did.
(Mr. McClure runs and gets Steve;
Greta grabs her father 🧑🏾 by his shirt 👕; mad 😡 music 🎼 plays)
Steve told him!!! LoL
I always tell that to people there my job when they spill cleaning supplies on the floor look what you did
This was so funny.
3:17 statue breaks🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
3:24 Look what you did🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
3:25 Greta father screams🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Is Mr. McClure the only person Steve Urkel doesn't call by his first name?
He’s Steve and Eddie’s boss remember.
Oh yes, it was Steve's fault for breaking it with the force of him closing!
It's subtle, but look VERY carefully at 3:14- he MOVED THE STATUE FORWARD!
It may be accidental, but there is more evidence the should have said, "Did I do that?" than "Look at what you did." (If he knew, then bad Urkel for such a lie! 🤣)
When you watch too many shows filmed on the Warner Bros lot and you recognize the apartment of Jacqueline Richards (aka Eartha Kitt's) from Living Single. 😊
Awww, here it goes.
So she was trying to get a boyfriend!?
Real shame that her father couldn't just be kind to her and let the 2 of them have a good friendship
Steve:Well I'll be going now
Greta's father:get in this house
Steve:Whoo maybe I'll stay a while
Steve is telling that no good of a Greta's father liked it is.
Wow subverted our expectations of him not saying "Did I do that".
Steve:And I'll be able to vamoose while the vamoosing is good (Greta's dad opens the door) my vamoose is cooked
I remember family matters fondly as a child. But I will say this about greta, she had a lot going on "back there" LOL
Oh come on now Steve just closed the door and that vase basically jumped right off.
This might be the first time I’ve seen Ron Canada not playing a judge.
Steve is just like mr bean the Ultimate Disaster no matter what he touches he definitely destroyers everything in his path in seconds.
John Jackson own Chicago 💯💯🤣🤣🤣🤣
