But you know this man would get amazing shots even with a camera taped to a broom handle.
🤣🤣🤣🤣 so true
underrated comment
Exactly 🤣
😂😂😂
🐐 lol
I like an ad that doubles as an illustrative tutorial on gimbal moves.
Mate, after seeing all your videos over the years and how you operate, this is like manfrotto made this purely for you! Awesome.
Manfrotto hit this out of the park! Both with the gimboom and the perfect representative to showcase it's abilities. It is such a good fit for the aggressive active style of monopod and gimbal work your have helped teach the indie community.
now that is finally interesting set up..... very cool
wait why is everyone so chill about this exactly? this is kinda brilliant 🤩
This is the first Manfrotto product that I've even considering buying in well over a decade. There are a few big unknowns right now. First is it is stupidly overpriced like a lot of their other stuff. Second is is fragile, because I moved away simply because stuff that shouldn't break did, and lastly will this preform as well in less than the ideal hands of Brandon Li [Sorry, but I think you can make any gimbal preform enough magic as to appear great ;) ]
Ok, I wasn't sure if it was just me but I'm glad to see I'm not the only person with this same viewpoint of Manfrotto gear. Of course this was a great video by Brandon as well.
Yep dig the concept for sure. Interested to see some real world reviews and price.
I agree they have good gear but there is always some aspect in each piece I own that is fragile. It seems like they try hard but just not quite there yet to create something 100% perfect. And they can ! but somehow they choose not to.
Idk... I have a Manfrotto tripod and it's not even one of the high end models and it's basically bullet proof 😶 Super sturdy in every sense of the way. So I don't have this experience of their stuff being fragile at all.
I’ve been a full-time photographer for 11 years and I’ve had a TON of gear. Now that you mention it and I actually think about it, the only equipment I’ve had break was Manfrotto 🤣
The detach remote handle - why no one thought of that until now? In the past I’ve set up a remote control for my Zhiyun crane on my monopod, but it was never that intuitive to use. It’s great to see something professional and made intentionally to work in such way. Awesome Manfrotto!
Because I love pairing my phone app to wifi or Bluetooth and it not recognise oh wait moments over lol
@@DaveKatague Indeed, so a built in system where it is always connected is the way to go. Hassle free and less chance of missing that moment
Looks interesting … like the monopod to tripod change. 😊
Manfrotto is surely know who to get to represent their first gimbal. This is a win if there is no bug for sure. Hope it is not so heavy.
This makes me miss HK immensely. What an amazing city.
Thor vs Brandon..who is owning the best warhammer?
I vote for Brandon!
I wasn't all that impressed until you mentioned the handle becoming a wireless remote. That... Is smart... Takes out the need for a phone as remote and makes using the gimbal on a pole a lot easier. Well done Manfrotto 👍🏻
Hh that was what got me too
Did you ended up buying this? I'm also looking for a gimbal that I could put on a pole and still control it...But this vid seems more like an add than anything else and in most of th evideos Brandon is not using this gimbal at all...
@@HardIsEasy nah I already have a Zhiyun Weebil S that I honestly don't use enough to warrant 'upgrading' it. And I agree. It's a problem of many photo/video gear reviewers that the videos look more like ads than actual breakdowns of the gear and how well it functions. All I can tell from experience is that remote control on the Zhiyun platform with the app isn't great. There's a fair amount of lag and you can't pre-program moves. I made a video on the wireless Zhiyun Transmitter that demos some of the lag and the limitations of the gear. This would be what you have to deal with where you to stick a Zhiyun on a pole. That's about as much help as I can be on this topic :(
Dang first heard of you through your blog talking about rx100 gen 1 video settings over 5 years ago, nice to see you still doing great things!
Cool 😍
Wow that is a great new way at combining gimbals w/ extension poles to achieve many different shots on the go...And I love your fast pace shooting style!
I approve this message.
ayyee bhuti ulana - this is a must have!!
Wow! Looks Awesome
So many commercial video of Manfrotto Imagine More system by a lot of filmmakers. I started watching this video with some negative feelings. But Brandon Li show some interesting moves! Wow! I like it! Gimbal Sensei!
Excellent!
Hey Brandon, NICE ONE!!!!
I think this was specifically designed with you in mind my dude. It looks amazing 🙌 That moonlight shot over HK was stunning by the way 😍
When you're the lead in an enticing commercial you....um...make sure it IS indeed enticing via editorial and creative control of its direction and production haha. Great job and yep, I've got the bug for this now. Props to those assisting you. Peace.
Really a feast for the eyes!
It must be my extreme good luck to have got a chance to see such a beautiful video!
This is amazing
Wow it looks soo versatile!
This seems like a totally underrated piece of kit. Very practical and useful for anyone that wants to travel light. It's hard to find on their website or anywhere else, so not surprised you don't hear much about it. I have an ifootage, but I think I'm gonna get this and slap the feet/base on the bottom of it. Love the little gimpod accessory too!
Great Tutorial Information Video Brandon!! Manfrotto did a great job in their design. Thank you for sharing it with us !
That was actually really cool. And worth considering!!
You had me at gimb - boom - extensions pole
great vid!
Loving this innovation. Good move Manfrotto
I’ve actually been looking at this system for a little while now this is a great showcase of it. Pretty cool to see you working w/ Manfrotto big man 👊🏽
Wow. I never thought I'd need another gimbal, but this would literally allow me to eliminate carrying so much stuff with me on a shoot.
GIMBAL KIING ❤️
Wow this looks amazing
Sold 🙌🏽
Thats so cool!!! I thought theres only gonna be minor upgrades from now on since all the gimbals have amazing features and functions but damn keeps having amazing upgrades that i have never thought of !!! Amazing!! Thank you brandon !!
It really is the perfect tool for you. I remember the one video you shot an indoor foods market where you took a monopod and attached it to your gimbal and this was not the time you did that.
Very practical for light weight cameras. Good luck from MAURITIUS.
Brilliant
This is the commercial solution of the past 15 years of diy projects. Lol. Mostly for out of reach. But everyone knows you can swipe and pan a dale with your two arms…but this eco system is great! Hopefully get to play with it I’m the future.
Very impressive. Manfrotto makes some great stuff. Almost all of my tripods and heads are Manfrotto.
Very interesting 🙌🙌🙌
Wow!
Looks solid! Funny I just posted a video showing how to do something similar with a Monopod attached to your gimbal but this looks more streamlined & sturdy for sure !
I rarely use my Canon R cameras for video but the one thing that makes this mount indispensable is for astrophotography. Since the Manfrotto 055 tripod center column does not rotate (a plus for stability when taking dark sky images) the Move mount allows me to pan with precision while doing delicate polar alignment. While I could mount the equatorial base, tracker, declination bracket, counterweight, camera and lens to the ball head, that makes for a very unstable load. The Move adapter eliminates the need for anything else between the equatorial mount and tripod which also makes for a lower center of gravity. While the price seems steep, for this application, I consider it a necessary cost for achieving the best possible results.
Damn, that's really compelling...
Game changer… I’m made I didn’t think of it
Ahhhh and so awesome w the wireless remote control!
Very clever Manfrotto!
Now though, I can’t wait to see how DJI responds.
wow what a game changer!!! love this!
Brilliant eco system concept!
Nice bro👌👌
Awesome!✌️
With all these Kung Fu like alike move, i almost see a shadow of Brandon Lee , you are a legend in gimbal movement.
Will be hard to find something bad on this Manfrotto setup... Looks so versatile that you could actually replace all your current gimble, tripod,... with that one and only stab !
awesome
Fantástico !!!!
If that gimboom is stress tested for it's mounts, then hats off!
This looks amazing!
awesome work!
Ulanzi's Falcam F38 seems to be a much better and more universal solution since you can connect your camera to your backpack and belt too.
That's sick. Big fan from India
Nice
Wow! Curious to give this a try!!
Ok so you can definitely start with this instead of dumbells in the gym hah
This looks like his perfect gimbal he’s been searching for hahaha
Good stuff. They definitely picked the right creator to market this lol
Idk about the gimbal yet, but that boom pole looks awesome
Wow
Master of steadycam
Whoaaaaaa! Cool.
Nice one, Brandon 👍
I feel like im watching michael bay teach me camera tricks when he should be putting stunning works of film on my TV.
chop chop Brandon, i need a movie out of you and into a cinema. Lifes too short.
This can make you a Shaolin Monk of videography
One the Move. Brandon Li come to Pakistan as well. You will get stunning locations.
Love it , what's the cost of it ??
looking forward to hear more out of sponsor comments, while comparing the differences with DJI RS2 etc, the Gim Boom is cool stuff anyway
Very, very nice.
This is de KILLER
😍😍😍😍😍
Looks awesome. Does it fit in a backpack for a hiking/backpacking trip?
Great video Brandon, like always. May I know whether this gymbal will hold larger camera such as C70?
Hmmm want expecting something like that from Manfrotto.... GAME CHANGER
It was a problem with DJI RS2 was the bottom little 1/4 screw that can only attach little tripod handle,
you can put a big 3/8 screw handle on it
That's bad ass!🤙
interesting.. I had to chuckle at the names tho. i mean.. gimboom, gimpod. just gimme everything
You are a beast! 🔥 Also, was that lens on your camera the Sony 35mm F1.8 ???
Lets go Brandon!
Good video, Brandon. I like Manfrotto, a lot, and the idea of a modular gimbal kit is very appealing. I'd say it's the first time in quite a long time we see some innovation in the gimbal market. Unfortunately, B&H says the gimbal's weight is 4.4 lb / 2 kg , which is almost twice the weight of the Ronin S2.
(Manfrotto's website says 7.5 lb / 3.4 kg, but I'm pretty sure it's a typo).
Brandon's steps look like he knows kungfu.
And… ordered the pole.
Looks a new standard, I am very curious about it
really cool for run and gun gimble users .. but doesn’t we already hv monopods ? will do the same attached ti a gimble ..BEST feati saw was that gimboom turn it into a tripod
🎉
Daaaamn. That looks super useful. How does it feel when you use that extension pole? Is it heavy?
Wait so your telling me I’ve had a manfroto move with just screwing on a manfroto monopod to my Zhyiun Crane 2 ?
Hi Brandon, I was wondering if you had any more footage you shot with the gimbal and if the footage in this video was post-stabilised at all?
Looks very interesting 👍🏻 but my fx6 is allegedly too heavy 🥴
😲😲
