Fryderyk Chopin was born in Count Skarbek familly estate on March 1 1810 in Zelazowa Wola to Tekla Justyna Chopin nee Krzyżanowska and Nicolas Chopin- a French emigrant who came to Poland for better life escaping French Revolution and become Skarbek Familly 's tutor and later steward of their estate .
Happy parents gave their child name Fryderyk Franciszek after Count Skarbek's older son.
As you know Chopin never wrote anything for violin (one trio does not count). His soul was enchanted in piano .
This valse has a very special arranger-Bronisław Huberman, a man for whomTikkun Ollam-Repairing of the world wasn't just an idea but a mission.( Like for Henryk Szeryng also from Poland who in 1941 saved 4000 People from Germans Hate Sentence of Death )Huberman was born in Czestochowa,this Polish virtuoso ,who as a teenager made Johannes Brahms cry over the loveliness of his interpretation of Brahms' own concerto, left us with a living, breathing monument. He established the Palestinian Orchestra that offered a Refuge to 1000 of Jewish musicians who had to flee Nazi Europe . Knowing that many of them might be lucky enough just to escape with their lives but nothing else,Huberman left another gift.He donated his instruments, including priceless Guarneri del Gesu, to that orchestra, the orchestra that become one of the greatest in the world: the Israeli Philharmonic.( Cir 2000 Midori was performing on Huberman's violin at Lincoln Center ).Huberman WAS ONE OF THE LAST TRUE VIOLIN VIRTUOSOS and also a man of amazing personal courage. He not only refused to perform in the Nazi Germany , although he was invited by in spite of the fact that he was a Polish Jew, but published an open letter as his protest blaming German intellectual elite for supporting the inhuman regime of Hitler in,1936(!)
YES in 1936,two years before pogrom against Jews throughout Germany known as Kristallnacht, and 3 years before Germans and Russians with Ribbentrop/Molotov Pact attacked Poland to start well planned, murdering , very profitable for Reich most bestial kill machine in all history of human kind ... Bronislaw Huberman wrote: ,,Before the whole world I accuse you, German intellectuals, you non-Nazis, as those truly guilty of all these Nazi crimes, all this lamentable breakdown of a great people a destruction which shames the world with race. It is not the first time in history that the gutter has reached out for power, but it remained for the German intellectuals to assist the gutter of achieve success. It is a horrifying drama which an astonished world is invited to witness: German spiritual leaders with world citizenship who until but yesterday represented German conscience and German genius, men called to lead their nation by their precept and example, seemed incapable from the beginning of any other reaction to this assault upon the most sacred possessions of mankind than to coquet, co-operate, and condone. Must, then, the Catholic Church and the Protestant Church in Germany battle alone in their truly heroic struggle for Germany's honour, tradition, and future?

Canaletto did not even imagine how important his beautiful paintings of Warsaw would become for Poles in the future.Thanks God that he felled in love with Warsaw and stayed ( on his way to Russia!!)
His paintings were successfully hidden from Germans in 1939 and survived WWII unlike Warsaw herself.Chopin''s city was detonated in November 1944 by SS Ludwig Hahn -Hitler's Chief of Police & Gestapo in occupied by Germans Warsaw.
Because of Giovani Antonio Canal and his love for details his paintings become essential in rebuilding of old Warsaw after WWII , even Royal Castle ( for many years Royal Castle was forbidden by Stalin orders to be rebuild after WWII )
