    I'm a little confused about the sound of the letter ㄹ. I know that sometimes it has a bit of an L sound or R sound (I can make those sounds in Korean), but it seemed like you pronounced the second column with a more distinct D sound, which confused me. But I love your teaching methods and how you take time with each sound. You are a great teacher.

    • @learnkoreaninkorean
      @learnkoreaninkorean  2 года назад +14

      🙂It is analyzed that the pronunciation of 'ㄹ' in Korean differs depending on the location, but each person pronounces it differently, and even if it is pronounced differently, there is no difference in meaning at all. In English, 'r' and 'ㅣ' have different pronunciations and have different meanings depending on what they are used for, but in Korean, 'ㄹ' is one letter and has several pronunciations, but they all have the same meaning.

      ☺️It is not a good idea to write down Roman letters right next to Korean letters. that gives you a hard time. Korean is Korean. you can't find the exact same pronuciation from English.
      "비" is "비". it's not 'bi' or 'pi'. it's somewhere in between. sometimes it is similar to [b] and sometimes it is similar to [p]. just keep moving forward. you will understand when they meet consonants. 👍

    ㄹ is hard for me but I’ll move on and practice my ears!!
    I am with you that romanization doesn’t help while learning to pronounce (could help when we communicate by text here). I have learned the basics of several languages. There are always nuances between very similar sounds. Like the ㅜ sound, although similar sounds exist widely in other languages but I think the mouth position here is quite unique. I’ve noticed it when watching Korean soap operas.^^

      🤓 The 'ㅅ' can be positioned as an initial consonant or a final consonant, and it is pronounced slightly differently according to phonological rules. However, don't worry too much, as the difference in pronunciation doesn't change the meaning. After watching it once or twice, you can move on to the next lecture👍

      ☺️'ㅏ' es solo una vocal, no una sílaba. la vocal en sí misma no puede ser una sílaba o una palabra. Para convertir una vocal en una sílaba o palabra, necesitamos agregar una consonante antes de una vocal. entonces no escribimos 'ㅏ'. escribimos '아'. '아' es una sílaba y también una palabra.
